Here I am as an ecapee, looking for grass to to eat and dirt to roll in!
On top of the Puffy Cat. My Bridge Brofer Dusty loved to sit here.

Mommy: Don't you want to talk? You're always the first one to come greet visitors and liberally be-fur them.
The Baby: "Meh."
Mommy: There's crunchy treats involved!
The Baby: I said MEH! But if there's treats, OK! First, let me see if that nasty Tiny Johnson is around...the nerve of that boy, when I used to groom him and play with him before he got so HUGE and decided he'd like to EAT me...OK, looks like it's safe.
Mommy & Daddy already had two white cats--Fuzzy & Chuckles, before they got me, too. Daddy mentioned to a guy in a waiting room that he "collected" white cats and the man said he had one that showed up at his house! Well, that was me. They collected me the next day and even as a half-grown kitten I was fiesty. I had a black smudge on my head that they thought was oil, but actually it was a "kitten cap" of black furs! I turned pure white eventually.
My main goal in life is to escape the house and roll in dirt, and for some reason Mommy disapproves of this. One time I got all good and red rolling in the desert dirt before Mommy captured me and shoved me in the shower stall for a *gasp* bath! Later, as she cleaned up the horrible red muddy mess she said she "didn't know cats could jump high enough to clear shower stall doors". Well Mommy, now you do!
Me & Kona are the last of the Illinois Kats. Kona road in a car to our new Lounge, but I got here in a plane stuffed in a bag! The so-called airline-approved carriers were too big for carry-on, so a nice lady put me in a fabric bag and I rode four hours in a plane under the seat! My brother Chuckles did too! We were very good and I didn't say "meh" once.
I'm a champion biscuit-maker. I like to get some fresh fuzzy blankie in my mouth and suck and knead away with all four legs...Daddy calls it the "sucky dance", which really is a pretty good description. I'm also in love with the dryer. I have a special bed just for me on the dryer and when it's running, I'm there. In fact, I kinda lived on the dryer for almost a year--it's a nice place!
Tomorrow you'll get to meet Maui. Fasten your seatbelts and hold on! He's the craziest boy in the Lounge...but you'll see for yourself soon enough!

The Baby is the smartest kat Daddy & I have ever lived with. Hi, Kat Mommy here. Seriously, if The Baby (and the "The" is part of her diva name) had thumbs she would rule the world. Right, Baby?

ReplyDeleteOMC!! We LOVE the photo on the cat statue!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty girl! And we too love the "cat on cat" shot!
ReplyDelete'The Baby'- aren't you gorgeous or what!
ReplyDeleteHi The Baby! It's nice to meet you! We can see you keep your humans on their toes. That's great; it's good for them to be challenged.
ReplyDeleteWe love that photo of you on top of Puffy Cat. In fact, we love Puffy Cat!
Hello! It is lovely to meet you:)
ReplyDeleteI am also a white kitty who loves to go into our garden and roll in the dirt. It's like a challenge!
I had a grey smudge on my back until I was one week old, then it disappeared. A friend of our mum's told her that often white cats who are not deaf are born with a patch of colour!:)
WOW Baby! What a life story (so far!) You seem to love being a dirt~roller. We don't get to do that, as we're not allowed outside. Mom says she'd like to get us a stroller, but we our house is, there's nowhere to walk as we're on a main road, with no sidewalks. We don't care, at least we could sit OUTSIDE~! Looking forward to meeting Maui tomorrow!!!
ReplyDeletehi Baby...
ReplyDeleteu is cool! let's goh play together in da dirt!

Hi - we both like rolling in the dirt and Mum loves it when we come straight in and transfer it onto the carpet. Well cleaning up keep Mums out of mischief.
ReplyDeleteHi The Baby. We love to roll in the dirt too. Wow! We have never been in a plane. We would have yowled all the way.
ReplyDeleteIs Maui named after the Hawaiian island? Our Beans went there last October on a cruise, and to Las Vegas for a week.
Hi guys, nice to meet you. FAZ and Birks
ReplyDeleteOh my stars stay out of the dirt you are too beautiful. Madi has white feet that have never touched the ground and she likes it that way....that is why we call her Diva!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures,
Madi and Mom
It is very nice to meet all of you. Ayla & Iza sent us over. Artemisia, Scylla & Socks Cats and our doggie Fenris
ReplyDeleteYou're a very pretty one, The Baby!
ReplyDeleteHowdy Baby, you have a wee bit of ornery in you I guess???
ReplyDeleteNice to meet The Baby! Moms cat when she was a girl was a white cat but he was a big tom (till he got nootered) and had longer hair than you. He used to take dirt baffs all the time and once he fought another cat in a mudpuddle and came home absolutely caked in mud. Our Grammie washed him in the laundry sink and he seemed to actually appreciate that baff!
ReplyDeleteOh my! We think you are the whitest kitty we ever saw!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh you remind me of my big sister Princess. She was really white and so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you are such a great helper The Baby!!

ReplyDelete'Ello Baby, I think it's compulsory for white cats to roll in the earth. Have you asked your Mom & Dad to bring trays of assorted earths into the house so you may roll in comfort? You should!
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice to meet you.
