Kitties!
George has a COUSIN, and his name is Clyde!
He's a new type of lizard that we've never nommed met before, and he visited us today. Sweet Pea invited him in, and made a beeline indoors to have a nice, private chat with Clyde. Once again, Daddy saw it all! He grabbed his camera and followed Sweet Pea back out onto the Catio.
Sweet Pea: Clyde, we aren't done yet!
CC: Whatcha got there?
Rupert: *dribble*
Sweet Pea: Where did Clyde go?
Rupert: To your left!
CC: *slurp*
Sweet Pea: He escaped into the tube, and Sylvester is sleeping in there!
Sylvester: Aaaaaaiiiiieeeeeeeee!!!!!!
A LIZARD just scuttled over my fur suit!
::thunders out of tube::
Clyde: Hey you! YOU!! The big dude in the tie-dye shirt!!
SAVE ME ALREADY!!!!!
Daddy saved Clyde.
Sylvester stomped inside to nap, unmolested by reptiles.
Felix was suspicious of the entire situation.
CC: Rats!
Sweet Pea: Double Rats!!
Scouty: Next time, eat interview Clyde outside. That's my advice.
Happy Sunday!

Interview...heehee, more like snackaview!
ReplyDeleteoh, kitties...poor clyde! i don't think he would like to be nommed. hahaha
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Clyde must be super relieved and lives another day. Yeah...kitties, you must hone your interview skills. purrr....meow!
ReplyDeleteSweet Pea, I think you must look Hot for all Lizard, They always love your inviting by some silly reason : )
ReplyDeleteMr. Clydel is lucky bastard ! Next time, you must take his tail as a souvenir !!!
Mom don't scream this time, she said Mr. Clydel has a cool texture. She hate the gecko type and house lizard which the skin look pale like translucent...That's scare her the most
That is a very interesting Clyde. We have lizards here too. They have electric blue tails and are called Western Skinks.
ReplyDeleteBaby here: I wish I had lizards to chase! I do have chippymunks, and they make a chirpy sound when they scurry under the fence and there's my face in theirs! Ha ha! I have to be patient and sit very still a long time for that to happen.
ReplyDeleteThat Clyde is a spoilsport for not wanting to play with you guys! And so is my human, for that matter, for being glad he got rescued!
ReplyDelete*MOL* Poor little thing that got shased by you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a speedy little guy! Yous should have nommed him right up!!
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
Clyde is kinda cute! I'm glad you didn't get to eat him.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he would have been tasty?
ReplyDeleteClyde is one lucky lizard. Perhaps he and his family have just moved in so Mrs Clyde and all the Clydettes can come visit too.....yummy
ReplyDeleteI think chasing lizards sounds like fun. They are fast little critters. Sorry you didn't get to nom him. Better luck next time.
ReplyDeletePee Ess - we love your catio!
Brave? Crazy? It's a fine line little lizard!
ReplyDeleteMolol I think Cousin Clyde is a bit of a poseur! He must be a very distant cousin as he's rather lacking in the fur department?
ReplyDeleteIt is always more interesting when several kitties get involved in something like this. Sweet Pea, it is true, if you want to interview him again, do so outside, and do it quickly!
ReplyDeleteClyde!! Me and Charlie hope you don't get interviewed again by the pawparazzi of the Katnip Lounge! LOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care
x
Ohhh - you guys are so lucky. We don't have lizards here, but he sure looks like he'd be fun to play with.
ReplyDeleteWhew! That was a narrow escape for sure!

Wow! This story is so cool!!!! We don´r have lizards here...
ReplyDeleteGreat Sunday!!!
Sweet Pea, next time Clyde comes calling, let me know and we can interview him together.
ReplyDeletePurrs Flynn
Clyde is a good looking lizard. We're sort of glad you didn't nom him!
ReplyDeleteGREAT picture of Clyde!! Those little things scurry so fast, I'm amazed that he stayed still long enough for a photo, especially since he was running for his life! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think Clyde would be smart to move somewhere far far away...
ReplyDeleteThat is one interesting little dude! Bet that was a fun conversation!!!
ReplyDeleteWe bet Clyde was as surprised to find another furry kitty in the tube as Sylvester was to have him scurry across his fur suit! How does your daddy get any work done with having to keep an eye on all of you and rescue lizards?
ReplyDeleteWatch out, next time maybe he'll bring his lovely wife, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteYou kitties sure get a lot of visitors at your house. I do not know what I would do if I saw a George or a Clyde. Scream I guess! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday kitties!
xo Catherine
Awww...poor Clyde! DO NOT interview that poor guy. What if mommy had brought you to a bear's house?
ReplyDeleteClyde looks juicy umm nice, too bad you did not get to finish the interview. I only get to interview bugs that Mom encourages me to finish.
ReplyDeleteMOL you all have way too much fun in the dessert. Good for Dad giving Clyde a helping hands...
ReplyDeleteRE: from the outside of St. David's we did not see any stained glass. The wedding is July 3...we'll let you know afterwards.
Hugs Madi
I am laughing at Mr. Puddy's comments...
ReplyDeleteps: Harley likes the brown lizards, but neither of us like the curly-tailed lizards.
I hear they taste like chicken.
ReplyDeleteAnd say, your MomKat has me scared now. After that $1 bid, the Human got out the scissors and she's been eying me, wondering why she has to wait for a whisker to FALL OUT when they could be so easily harvested by other means.
Rupert darling...next time bring Clyde with you when you come over..
ReplyDeleteOur advice is to eat first an ask questions later. Iffen ya dont get anny answers, then yer eatin went really well!
ReplyDeleteWun Clyde, Wun, don't looks back ow you will be tomowwow's snackie!
ReplyDeleteHoly Toledo, that was exciting! I've been missing all KINDSA stuff at your place!
ReplyDeleteSweet Pea
ReplyDeleteWe have a skinx hanging out around our house. He is striped in colors like your background. He is big and juicy we can't get to him, we need your help. Please tell us your secret so we can lure skinxy in!

MOL..there is never a dull moment at the Katnip Lounge! Daddy deserves the lizard rescue award of the year :)
ReplyDeleteFergus thinks some kind of unified amphibious assault might be the answer. Speaking as H. Bean, I think I'm rooting for the amfibs right about now. I think you know what I'm talking about.
ReplyDeleteyour Dad must sure be FAST to have gotten such a great picture of Clyde! It looks like Clyde is climbing out of a swimming pool MOL!
ReplyDeleteClyde is one lucky lizard! Looks like he just barely got away!
ReplyDeleteOh man! Your daddy sure knows how to ruin a good time! We hope Clyde comes back for a visit real soon...when daddy's not around!!
