Kitties!
Scouty here...
You startled me a little, I didn't realize it was Monday already!
So, here's some fascinating facts about me, Scouty Scouterman:
1. I have bullseyes! My litter mate CC has them too.
2. My floofy tail has a cream-colored tip. Mommy grabs at it a lot.
Unsuccessfully.
3. I love my brother, even though he went over to The Dark Side and allows enjoys being petted.
I Do Not like to be folded, spindled, mutilated or otherwise Touched..
4. Johnny is my second-best buddy. I pester him a LOT!
We play "Squash", that's when John lays on me and squashes me flat.
It's FUN!
5. I am a mighty hunter!
Nothing escapes my Claws of Doom...
...not even a scorpion!
6. I love the way Mommy smells.
I get IN her bed every chance I can...up by the pillows is the PRIMO spot.
I also hop up on the bed at night when Mommy is sleeping, and she never knows, heh heh!
If the bed is made, I still like to lie next to the pillows, and Johnny and Rupert.
I don't like to nap up there alone; it's too easy to be sneaked up on and Touched.
7. I love our Lawn!
It's the bed you can eat.
8. There's no better toy than an egg carton.
I can shred one in about ten minutes...and that's taking my time.
9. THIS is why I refuse to be Touched:
One of these days I might end up in here!
10. Even as a Kitten-Tot I was Deeply Suspicious...
...and if you ever hear the story that I purred up a storm when Mommy forcibly restrained and petted me, well, it's a dirty, filthy lie.
I would never like being Touched so much I drooled.
Happy Monday!
Tomorrow is Grayce's turn...don't touch that dial...

hii Scouty!!!
ReplyDeletethe 10 things game is so much fun. we love reading it
much love;
BoBo Salem & ChaCha
Hey Scouty, Boodie does not like being touched either - she runs away when my human reaches for her. Unless she grabs her when she is not looking and pets her while holding her down. Then she purrs. Lots. So yeah, I got your number.
ReplyDeleteO Scouty of the Claws of Doom,
ReplyDeleteYou're da bomb, man!!!! purrr....meow!
P.S. Even if you fib a bit about not liking being touched, you are still my hero for catching that scorpion!! That is impressive!
ReplyDeleteYou look an awful lot like Sherpa the farm cat. Maybe you two are related!
ReplyDeleteLoved learning more about you. Love that Bullseye too. Very handsome.
ReplyDeleteScouty, you and Nigel should form a club...the Stew Buddies...although Nigel is convinced, at times, that mom and dad are axe murderers.
ReplyDeleteMore pets for me!
xoxo Cory
Oh what a cute little kitten! Th eWoman loves bullseye kitties. Her orange Iggy cat had big bullseyes on either side and when he was really fat it was quite a target!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent ten things, Scouty! Raymond is deeply suspicious too.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute!! It must be very hard for your humans not to touch you. I don't think you will end up in the stew pot. :) It was nice learning about you.
ReplyDeleteI hope my SS gets the point - not like being touched. You are so cute she threatens to squish you just like she does me. :sigh: Things I have to put up with.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a handsome chap, Scouty. I enjoyed reading 10 things about you very much. Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteScoutey, maybe you aughta start using those egg carton shredding skills on your peoples? Your personal space will be guaranteed forever if you do! Just a thought, bud. I'd hate to see you end up as the stew for dinner. Just saying...
ReplyDeleteAhhhh Scouty, we think you are just a cutie. Egg box shredding sounds fun, i will have to have a go :)xx
ReplyDeleteWe hid our eyes at the scorpion bit!! You be careful buddy!!
ReplyDeleteScouty !!!!!!! Wow !!! I never known you are a mighty hunter !!! Salute for Scorpion !!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Mom is going to collect the egg carton for me, Thanks for an idea !
You are beautiful and a great hunter!
ReplyDeleteScouty ~ yoo are one big gorjuss ginger! Yoo made us larf!
ReplyDeleteHey Scouty, Think you are shouting a bit too much about being touched! You like it really, deep down, don't you!!! Go on admit it.....
ReplyDeleteBTW Austin can't look as you remind him too much of Big Ginge, his arch enemy. In fact he's slunk off all low slung like and is hiding somewhere??
Beautiful Scouty!!! You are the Robert Redford of Katnip Lounge!! You are handsome and orange with gorgeous eyes and are very very tasty! LOL!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Great stuff Scouty. There are a lot of us here that are not crazy about being touched. We do like the idea of making an egg carton a toy. We have instructed the assistant to go buy some eggs so we can have the carton. Thanks for all your confessions Scouty. Take care.
ReplyDeleteScouty, we loved learning more about you!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Being touched is actually fun! You should try it!
Scouty...so what you are saying is that is your story and you're sticking to it...you certainly do look very lovable to us. Mom told me their first kitty, Milky-Way, was very good at jumping on their bed w/o disturbing them. EVIDENTLY I attribute is not in my dnas.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
I've had to catch up with a few posts ~ oh my ~ lots going on here. Love the photos of kitties getting baths! And of course getting to know each one better is also very fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week kitties!
xo Catherine
i'm with you. touching is for girls.
ReplyDeleteOh Scouty, we just love your wide eyes. We never knew that an egg carton could be a toy--we have to ask our mom about that.
ReplyDeleteHey Scouty! I have been away while guys started this '10 things' game so I must go back and catch up with the others! Its a great idea.
ReplyDeleteIts a shame you dont like to be touched, you are missing out on so many hugs and snuggles which are really lovely. Maybe one day you'll surprise yourself.
Hugs - Oh sorry forgot already, no hugs!
Dee
xx
We did like hearing all your 10 facts but we didn't know you didn't like snuggles - we both love to be snuggled and kissed. We are sure if you tried it you would get to like it a little bit.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Good to learn more about you Scouty... mom loves that last picture!!
ReplyDeleteHa Scouty! That's a hilarious 10 things! Good job.
ReplyDeleteScouty,
ReplyDeleteOuw mom twied to moved dat Scowpion aways! She is scawed of dat stingy tail dey hab!
Wee enjoyed weeding da 10 tings bout youse and will tuned in tomowwow!
Scouty Stew! Ouch. We hear you buddy. But you gotta change your thought waves, pal.Demanding cuddles/petting/massages/belly rubs and general adulation makes the humans even more on top of your needs. You can completely monopolize their time asking for snuggles at the most inopportune times.Try it.You might REALLY like it :P
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage
Hi Scouty we loved reading abowt yoo! We are impressed wif yoor hunting skills - that's a real berd yoo have caught!!
ReplyDeleteBetter hide that scorpion. MomKat might use it for seasoning in the Stew Pot.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had HenchCats like Johnny and Rupert (well, maybe not Rupert) because sometimes I like to lie on the bed also, but it's sooooo easy for the Human to grab at me there.
Your mommy sounds like she is totally out to get you! You are best to beware at all times.
ReplyDeleteHi Scouty! You really should let them touch you. At least scritches around your ears and jawline.....it feels so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMeowm would be after your floofy tail too!
U r so gorgeously handsome! Can't work out what creature or thing u have in your mouth!?
ReplyDeleteThose were all great, but that first picture was terrific!!!
ReplyDeleteScouty, you are HANDSOME! That kitten pic has marmie squeeing! You look so much like her past brothers, Earl and Thomasina.
ReplyDeleteScouty, we just love you! You are so handsome and your eyes are gorgeous! We're very impressed with your hunting skills too. It's sweet that you get on your mom's bed although she doesn't know it.
ReplyDeleteGosh, Scouty, we're sorry we startled you! Though that is a very cute photo. We LOVED learning more about you. We've never played with egg cartons - maybe we should! But dude, you srsly HAVE to get petties. And brushies. You are so missing out on things. They're way better than playing Squash.
ReplyDeleteLove, Fuzzy and ZOE
Hey Scouty, yoo should see Zippy over here making eyes at yoo! Yeah, she hates being touched too, so much dat she actually bited dad dis morning fur trying to rub her...and she loves orinch mancats.
ReplyDeleteI do not like being touches much either Scouty. When I get touched I lick the cooties off quickly.
ReplyDeleteI like your cool tail - gaaah pawsome
Scouty, I am so impressed that you actually hunt SCORPIONS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Scouty you were a cute kitty, as you are a handsome devil mancat today.
ReplyDeleteYou were not afraid of scorpions? Mighty hunter you truly are.
Emma and Buster.
Scouty, we enjoyed reading all about you :)
ReplyDeleteWe had to go back and read about some others too !
Everycat here loves to be touched and we all like to pile on Mom when she tries to sleep! hahaha
You are mighty good looking too ;)
Purrs Tillie and Georgia
Hi Scouty! We had fun reading about you! You really do not like being touched :-) I would love to touch your fluffy tail though.
ReplyDeleteMy Niko says he wants to come over and nap on that grass bed!
I love the last photo...you do look suspicious! LOL! Don't worry...you will not be eaten!
Scouty, you are so handsome, and such a mighty hunter! I can't believe you catch scorpions -- you are so brave!
ReplyDeleteWow, Scouty, scorpions?!?! I'd be scared of those!
ReplyDeleteOh, dat fing scared me....you are a very brave hunter=^Y^=Thomas
ReplyDeleteScorpions!!! You bees BRAVE! We especially like the "Claws of Doom" :-) Some of us are sitter-by-ers and some are sitter-on-ers. Mumsy just figures to each our own.
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo cool!
I need to tell something to you = I LOVE ORANGE CATS!
ReplyDeleteScouty, mommy and I adore ALL of you and while Rupert is my man...i admit that you are a handsome pot of stew..I mean Mancat!
ReplyDeleteScouty you are a mighty kitty. you kill scorpions and don't get hurt???? Wow! We like your fur; it reminds us of Target so we're a bit partial....
ReplyDeleteScouty, you're adorable. We used to have an orange kitty named Scottie, who was also very cautious. Some of my kitties think when I try to kiss them that I am actually trying to eat them! I'm pretty sure your mom would much rather kiss you than eat you. We look forward to hearing more about you and your big family.
ReplyDeleteOh Scouty, Scouty, Scouty. Bet yer mum would NEVER forcibly restrain you if you puts that scorpion in her bed!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Ms. Stella O'Houligan
Ha-Ha!! Scouty, JayJay has a bullseye on him, too!! Only his is between his shoulder blades. Our Mom will sneak up on him when he's being naughty & use the bullseye to drop water on him!! He HATES that!!
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting facts about you, Scouty - although, we all think you're missing out on getting touched! Neck scritches feel heavenly!!
Have a great night!
~Nico, Simon & JayJay :)
ps. Simon had us go back to the Meezer Color Day post - he was SURE it would be about his favorite girl & it was!! May Ling, he's teleporting over now to lounge on the famed Catio with you!!
Scouty be careful about the Scouty Stew because she wanted to know what I hide in my Tummy Bag today. Be safe she is very interested in Cat Meat. Purrs from Willow.
ReplyDeleteScouty...we think you would like to be folded, spindled and mutilated...but you got a reputation to uphold. Go ahead and give in...it's okay...just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed reading about you Scout and your cream colored tip of your tail! But...your Mama left out that you have GORGEOUS GREEN EYES!!
ReplyDeletexoxoxo
Two words, re scorpion:
ReplyDelete1. Holy
2. Sh*t
Mum said, "Eek, a scorpion!" but we said "Wow, what a mighty hunter."
ReplyDeleteI wonder if my kitties would like egg cartons. I do hope that someday you might decide it's OK to bet petted sometimes!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Scouty, our Mommy swooned when she first met you. She says you remind her of a certain kitty named Scooter. 'Cept Scooter doesn't hate being petted...too much. Being picked up and squished...well, that's another story all together.
