Kitties!
Daddy's business has been getting out of control, despite our best efforts.
Toady, we told him and Mommy that it was TIME to get the back stock organized.
So they got to work.
For those of you who don't know, our Daddy sells music cassettes, new and used, on eBay. He's the largest seller of used ones, he has over 10,000 items in his store!
All the stuff in his store is in specially built racks, but there's lots more in the garage that are duplicate titles, or not listed yet, or whatever.
And it was all these cassettes that needed to be organized.
Mommy and Daddy got to work, and naturally we supervised!
Well, SOME of us did.
All the boxes were scrutinized,
as well as the makeshift tables.
This photo is for Spitty!
"Get to work, you slackers!"
"Here's an encouraging kiss, Mommy."
Look at how high the piles got
The coffee maker was almost obscured.
Which would have been a SERIOUS emergency!
CC and Scouty inspected the progress at regular intervals.
Chinese food was ordered, delivered and devoured.
Finally, it was all done.
54 boxes of cassettes alphabetized and neatly stored in the garage, ready to be assessed and listed in Daddy's store.
Kitties, that's nearly 4000 tapes!
We had to slave drive all day.
Phew.
Happy Thursday!

ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage
We hope some special food was ordered for you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a bunch of you enjoyed the boxes!
We are just glad they had you guys to snoopervise, and give kiss encouragers. Otherwise, they'd never get it done. That's just how humans are without us...lost.
ReplyDelete:-)
Wow, u worked your mom and dad very hard! Great results though :)
ReplyDeleteSo many boxes! What fun!
ReplyDeleteWow that's a lot of inventory and a lot of stuff on eBay. Mom used to sell on eBay but she is glad she quit. She got fed up with the nonsense from the "customers" and from eBay. WE are sure your Daddy is much more successful than our Mom was.

ReplyDeleteNoir
my ex husband would have loved this! He was a DJ. He DJ'd weddings and various events. He was always on the prowl for old cassettes etc. I made the mistake of giving him my ENTIRE VAST LP collection...can you say "stupid!!??"
ReplyDeleteWOW; 4000 you say? You have truly gasted my flabbers! How does the tape manage to keep it's integrity of sound, etc? You must keep them stored in a cool room! (I mean besides the very cool painted rooms!)
ReplyDeleteMs. Stella's Woman
Holy moly! Look at all those boxes!! A cat's dream!! We hope you all got extra extra treats for all the hard work you did.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of boxes to play in! Pisi noticed that her Big Two Legged One has many tapes, as well, but not as many as yours. One question: how do you preserve them?
ReplyDeleteWhew!!!
ReplyDeleteDat sure waz alotta work!
You guyz are certainly Effishent ^..^
You kitties do great work! My hubby could use some cats like you.
ReplyDeleteI would say that you kitties must need a good rest after all that hard work, but it looks like you were resting while snoopervising, so it may just be redundant!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of cassettes! Which means lots of boxes, which makes kitties verreh, verreh happeh!
Holy Moly! Great work guys! And of course, our Johnny rocks!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you helped. What would they do without you guys?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of your Daddy's ebay store? My hubby is looking to sell several hundred cassettes.. and maybe add to your collection? If you have any interest. haha! Maybe Daddy more than Mommy! :)
