Kitties!
Daddy has been photographing the Evil Hummerbird a lot lately.
And guess what--he doesn't like the flashy box EITHER!
Oh for Burd's sake Mister, you're out here again?
You're practically a tweetin' stalker!
Get a life, I tell you.
Maybe if I give you the Hummerbird Stare of Death you'll go away.
No?
You leave me with no other choice, then.
I CRAP at you!
So there.
This is another fine example of the Hummerbird's Evilness.
Besides using foul language and dive bombing kitties, they poop offensively.
Good grief.
Happy Friday!

Oh my Cod! Who would of thought! That hummer looks really angry with those ruffled feathers (or its it windy?). The dad messed with bees in the palm tree but should draw the line with tiny hummers. They are beautiful but just plain mean (hey, just like our Julie!). We see them fighting at the backyard feeder. Its not a pretty sight!
ReplyDeleteThat thing really IS evil! And on top of that, he isn't even a mouthful - a cricket would be more satisfying!
ReplyDeleteOMC..the bird do give an obvious hates of flashy box.thats bad bird..bad bad bird...
ReplyDeletepurssss...
Ooh, that bird does look a little angsty. Great photos, though! I haven't seen hummingbirds sit still very much - they're usually so twitchy.
ReplyDeleteHmm, he looks like a tasty morsel! Perhaps one of yous kitties could catch and eat it!!
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
And somebody could lose a eye with that beak!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures belong in National Geographic!
ReplyDeleteBut where's the Kitteh? I see no kitteh? Isn't there a law of sumfing that there has to be a kitteh? Huh? Huh?
Those are some awesome photos! I don't think I'd mess with that hummingbird, though.
ReplyDeleteTruffle
A bird that small shouldn't have an attitude that big! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteYour daddy is good with the flashybox
ReplyDeleteThey poop offensively (and with remarkably good aim!)
ReplyDeleteEffing fAntASTic SHOTS!
The Stare of Death combined with That Upturned Dagger of Doom made us run and hide.

@Beaded Tail, ya, but then just remember Chiuhauah's!
ReplyDeleteIt seems the flashy box can bring out the 'tude in just about all creatures. This hummingbird does look peeved.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, great shots by your daddy!!
Sounds like Captain Cattastic needs to pay you a visit! George
ReplyDeleteÄiti is in awe of your Daddy and the Evil Hummer. SHe wants to know how long he had to wait for the birdie to pee. Also she says that most birdies she knows lift their tails and emit projectile poop - she has never seen birdies pee. And isn't that a bit odd in a desert ? And..... SHUT UP Äiti. You are missing the point. This is the Katnip Lounge Blog, not a bird's pissing forum. These are snacks and not interesting. The beak however, could be a good toothpick, once the juicy body parts have been removed. Go get him guys!
ReplyDeleteGreat post and love the photos!
ReplyDeleteCrazy bird! purrr...meow!
ReplyDeleteHoly Catfish - those are great pictures. How did you ever get him to sit still long enough to get a picture. Yummm - swat! Got him!
ReplyDeleteLOL at the crapping shot. Perfect timing! Love Evil Hummerbird's attitude.
ReplyDeleteAwwww but Evil Hummingbird is so pretty!! Look at that little face! Awwwwww!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics - worth getting the crap of disrespect! LOL! Take care
x
I agree with Spitty... National Geographic should give you a call for those lovely pictures...
ReplyDeleteYour Daddy got some amazing pictures of the hummer bird, even if it DID make him mad.
ReplyDeleteWe think those photos are absolutely amazing, just brilliant. Wow. We're impressed Mr. Angry Hummingbird was still long enough! The mom assumes your dad set up a tripod for this!
ReplyDeletei hear they taste like chicken.
ReplyDeleteGood grief! That's one angry pooper. But great pics :)))
ReplyDeleteAMAZING pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteWe hope the humming bird didn't poop on your Daddy's head !
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Who knew hummerbirds were so evil? I wonder why the humans always put those little feeders full of hummerbird juice out in the yard to ATTRACT them? Are they CRAZY?
ReplyDeleteYou guys wouldn't be a teeny weeny little bitty jealous now, would you...?!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Just look at those beady little eyes!
ReplyDeleteHe's been up to no good since day one!
He does have his feathers all fluffed. Those are some great pictures though. It is hard to catch a humminbird being still. Well done.
ReplyDeleteOMC !

That is one hummingbird with an attitude! I think I'd stay away from him.
ReplyDeleteExcellent series of hummer pics...
ReplyDeleteWonder what type it is? Lots of feathers around his beak..we only have ruby throated here in NC.
The next to last picture is definitely a Kodak moment.

Ohh! My goodness!!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a Hummingbird that looks like this. Our hummingbirds here in the south are alot different...but he is a very handsome hummingbird..unique.
Love the pictures too. You are very talented with the camera.
Have a great Kitty Weekend!!
They get away with this kind of crap because they are SO CUTE!! He looks like Alexander McQueen might have done his hair. What -- style. What -- je ne sais quoi. Je does sais, tho, that Pops is one durn genius with the flashy box.
ReplyDeletefrom our mama to your dad - hats off. love the shots, and fab timing on th poop thing.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
That is one weird hummer as they are usally go-go-go. Be aware of the evil hummer as it has a really bad 'tude.
ReplyDeletehahaha, your dad got the poop shot!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures, Daddy. Good job. Great "action" shot, too.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow. Tell Daddy what a superior job he did!!! MY last female hummer left 3 days ago and mom cleaned and disinfected the feeder till next Spring.
ReplyDeleteWe've never thought hummers were evil...maybe Las Vegas hummers are meaner than mid-west hummers...y'think??
ReplyDelete(We just wanna say those are some of the best hummer photos we have seen...cudos to the daddy.)
Those birds are little, but they sure have a big attitude. And they're really attractive anyway...
ReplyDeleteha ha ha ha snort ha ha ha ha ha snort and I shall fart in your general direction! ha ha ha
ReplyDeletethat having geen said, wow, those pictures are awesome. Your daddy is one kick a photographer.
Doods, I just read this again. I'm still laughing. I can't believe that bird pooped at your dad
Well clearly he is evil and deserves to be Talked To by you cats. We think though getting past the glass windows may be a problem.... Maybe if you all line up against the window and make faces at him?
ReplyDeleteDaddy's hummingbird photos are spectacular!! Our hummingbirds have all gone south for the winter. :(
ReplyDeletewow. just wow..
