Kitties!
We are Miffed Off ManCats!
First, Mommy tells us that there are going to be STRANGERS at our house.
Next, Mommy say one of the strangers is a Sticky Little Person!
Finally, Mommy announces that we can post, but we won't be able to visit a lot or comment this week.
You can see how we took the news...
The Strangers are Mommy's Stepson Aaron, his wife Katelyn, and Mommy & Daddy's Granddaughter, Danielle, who is 14 months old. We have never met a Sticky Little Person before. As you can see, Maui is rather concerned.
Mommy has never met Katelyn or Danielle! Daddy's traveled to North Carolina where they live for a visit, but Mommy was unable to go. Mosta us kitties have met Aaron before, and Johnny is pretty cool with seeing him again.
They are going to stay in a Hotel nearby. Katelyn is allergic to Cats! Rupert isn't too concerned about making her sneeze.
Felix loves company, and is resting up to do his skyway racing act.
CC, true to form, doesn't have a clue that anything is going on.
So Kitties, if you don't get comments from us this week it's because Mommy is going to enjoy herself with her family and not perform her secretarial duties. We'll try to keep up with what's going on in the CB, but if anything REALLY exciting happens try to not post about it until next week!

ReplyDeleteWe TOTALLY understand..we have to take a time-out, too because our Mom is having some kind of eye operation so that she can see without glasses or contacts, but because of it, she won't be able to be our secretary for a couple of weeks. We hope that you guys have lots and lots of fun and cuddles with the family and that the little sticky ones are nice to you. We won't be having any of that, but maybe we will get some more lap time with Mom...we hope!!! Lots of purrs, Lautrec and Tiny

We will miss you, but sometimes the beans need a break. Tell your beans to enjoy the visit and we will be here when your Mom resumes her secretarial duties.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mum has a great time with your visitors. Sticky Beans can be great because they drop a LOT of food. Little Miss Suey "doesn't like humans unless they are mum and dad" was best friends with a 2 year old when we lived in Queensland.

We're gonna miss you guys, but understand! A sticky little person visited us on Saturday. It was only for 10 minutes, but it felt like an eternity! We feel your pain!

ReplyDeleteWe'd be miffed too!! But you have a funny way of showing your miff-ness. We don't like the little sticky people much. We usually hide when they come over. But we're lucky...they never stay too long!!

ReplyDeleteWe know just how you feel - our Mom has been cleaning for days because her parents are coming to visit for the 4th of July - We don't mind - really! The only thing we don't like about it is that they are both woofie people & think we cats are snooty - whatever!!

It would be hard to get the dose right if multiple cats were eating out of the same dish, but here's what she said would be a good one to try

I've spent a lot of years down that particular road, in the black hole, and I'm not there anymore, have gotten help and will do so again when I need it, without hesitation. Just was having a crummy moment...or two...yesterday and venting. I promise. :-)
