You're Asking For It! Number 3

Kitties!

Uh...just a minute...
Whew.

OK!  CC here.
Last week we talked about food, and this week we're gonna tell you about "leftovers"!

We have lots of places to "go" here at the Lounge.
Out on the Catio we have two wading pools...

Ah, fresh sand.

...and another one inside in the yellow bedroom.
This area has a line in the morning!  We like this pool the best and we fill it up every day.

We have a box in the Little Out, too.  This one gets used the least, mostly it's The Baby's latrine.

We use Fresh Step clumping litter.  Mommy has tried more "green" litters but we didn't like them.  And you know what THAT means!
Here are the scooping tools:  a garden rake and a steel scooper.
Daddy is our main scooper, and he believes in sturdy tools.

We have two air filters in the house for dust, an Ionic Breeze in the Yellow room and a HEPA filter in the great room.  They work great!  Our poops are fairly non-stinky cuz we don't have grains in our wet food, and  whenever People come over they are amazed that the house does NOT smell like "Cat".  (Like that's a BAD thing?)
Kudos to Daddy and his superior housekeeping!
He vacuums and mops every day.

Now, this next bit deals with actual "product".
We hope that's all right.
A Monolith!

A Squiggle!

Mystery Whizz.

The Largest Pee of All Time.

Lastly, sometime we have disputes, and we think outside of the box.
But not too often.

Gotta go!

Next week, we'll answer your questions about how we all get along!

Happy Tuesday!

Luv, CC and the Lounge Kats

  1. That was ah...um...very educational. At least we know there are plenty of facilities when you have a party and we're all over there for some fun!

  2. We agree, that was very educational and pretty funny! Not the part about your all doing what's natural but that your beans took photos of the results! Just goes to show that we cats are here to amuse the beans!

  3. Those are some pawsome works of art there your daddy digs up! Every once in awhile we do a pee in the shape of a heart for our mom.

  4. Hehehehe!!!!
    Very educational indeed!
    I'm still struggling!
Especially with them thinking outside the box! heheheheheh

  5. I sure do love hearing of how you care for your precious ones. I am extremely jealous of your catio. Not really, I am just really impressed at how nice you keep things for your large cat family.
Now as far as the poop goes that was too funny!
Your cats are so lucky to have such a wonderful home.

  6. Humans. I don't understand them. Äiti is delighted by your post and very amused by the 'monolith'. We usually produce squiggles but sometimes there are mighty logs. She is extremely jealous of the lack of smells - but as it is so chilly willy outside we cannot actually air the place much so we look forward to summer. We have a couple of filters. As well as the boxes we have we like depositing n rugs. This is not popular with Äiti and the washing machine gets a good workout (she long ago gave up buying nice dry-clean rugs).
We are not sure where we would put a big 'pool' but upstairs is a possibility. It's a bit different from the 'one box per cat plus one 'rule but Äiti wonders if it will work. The larger box upstairs already is proving popular. Anyway, thank you for a very informative post - I shall now go and ponder it in the little mancat's room, hehehe.

  7. We are laughing SO hard! Know why? See that "mystery whiz"? We think on of you gave somebody the finger! Ohhhhh, we're so sorry to say that. Mom just said that was RUDE of us. What's rude mean...we're cats and we always tell the truth :)
Here's another truth: we just love coming over to visit you guys. You have everything in the world to play on. Gives us big ideas and now we're making out Christmas lists early!
Headbonks all around from us :D

  8. I am not a big fan of the grain free food... and I think you know the results of that!

  9. I know I live in a one-kitty household, and it's an apartment to boot, but man, I sure would like one a them POOL-SIZE boxes! Now that's a BOX that's a BOX, something a Mancat would be proud to poop in!

Could you guys get together and maybe make Stonehenge?

    ReplyDelete
  10. That was interesting. We have what our Mom likes to call "elevator butt". Especially Busby. As he pees, his butt goes up up up! He manages to pee over the side of nearly every cat box we've ever had. Finally Mom got two boxes from Clever Cat and they are perfect for Busby's elevator butt. Don't any of you Mancats pee over the short sides of your wading pools?

  11. Hmm, we could use a kiddy wading pool here but der is no place to put one. We think dat mystery wiz is what happens when Speedy goes in da box, he always takes one of Sadie's mini tootsie rolls and pees on it! Den dey clump together. Mom thinks Speedy is weerd.

  12. MOL! You should see the stuff that sticks out of OUR litterboxes...

  13. My mom told me she sneaked to check your post on her lunch time, and then after she scroll down to see your product, she start to giggle and then when she saw " The Largest Pee of All Time " she can't control herself with the word " HOLLY _HIT " ( you know the real word ) and cracked up laughing.. Her work mated just gave her a real good look : )

And we just laugh and laughing so many times..Again and Again with this post..You have no idea how much we laugh...THANK YOU !!!

All are UNIQUE PRODUCTS !!!!! and the one I really want to know who is the artist is A Monolith : )

It's SUPER IMPRESSIVE with how much your mom and dad have done for you guys and how delicate ideas to put so many filters.

Massive Thanks for this post !!!!

  14. Wow, those are creative deposits! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hmm... I think we prefer seeing the things that make those deposits more than the deposits themselves!

  16. MOL...lots of precious treasures inside the sand box! This post is so funny!
Thanks for this big smile here, and now I will enjoy your previous posts and see what's going on there, about your adventures!
    love you all

  17. Wow! Those wading pools are very impressive! We have five litterboxes here for the three of us and our greatest game is to follow #1 around as she is cleaning them, and using them immediately!

  19. Oh my goodness ~ that is quite the litter box ~ but such a good idea! I know Banjo enjoys a clean litter box so you kitties must be very happy your dad keeps yours all so clean!

  20. I loved the tour - your place looks like heaven - oh and a lot like the cattery I visit occasionally......

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would love to go potty in a giant pool! Our poops are about the size of a couple of large black olives since we have been on our raw food diet. I think all that grain is what makes poops big and smelly!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Whoa! We didn't realize you had THREE wading pools! But you didn't say how much litter you go through in a month. MOL!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I enjoy a lerger sized litter box, being a fairly large sized mancat, so I am sure I would be in heaven to have a pool as a box. And a catio to put it in!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Stopping in to make sure that you all made it home safely from my birthday party. Thank you so much for coming it was so nice to spend the day with you. The hams were oh so yummy but I only counted 526 chickens not 527. You will have to talk to your deli person as I think they cheated you out of one. They will have to credit your account. I hope you had a good time.
You all sure have a great place. It must take your mommie all the day long to keep up with scooping of things.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Wowzers! Our mum wants to know how she can get our dad to do our trays. He did them once three years ago and never looked back...

Suey also has elevator butt, so we're oof to check out the clever cat boxes mentioned above!

    ReplyDelete
  26. AMAZING!!!! How much litter to you buy at a time and how often to you change it? MOL

Well done Dad indeed!!! We love the big boy tools Dad has to use for the clean up.
    Hugs Madi

  27. All those litter boxes to scoop - we think your Dad must be "Pooper Scooper" of the year.

    ReplyDelete
  28. and i thought dealing with litter for the three boyz was a chore... i am glad my boyz don't mind the pine based litter because it smells good (at least while its fresh).

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yoor dad makes a great scooper and ... erm ... we larfed out loud at the "sculptures"! Dad does most of the scooping in our howse too ~ we get a completely clean box every day, and it is "refreshed" twice daily (that means dad scoops it!)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Mommy saw two wading pools thru the times she and I come to visit. But she never knew how much CrankyPants power it took to rake them all clear and ready for more, MOL. I LOVE the rake. Back before we knew I had hyperthyroidism, I made some boulders like that but those alerted mommy to taking me to the v-e-t to see what was wrong.

Me and Mommy hope that Johnson is alll better now?

  31. HAHA! That's hilarious what Spitty said about getting together & making Stonehenge!
And Old Kitty: Turdy Stools/Sturdy Tools!!!!!

Shaggy doesn't cover his poop because he's alpha cat. Scooby likes to poop in the dark corner of the basement, even if there is a box nearby.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Love this post!
I am curious to know about food, no dry food? must see if there is a post about this....

    ReplyDelete
  33. What a great post....and we are very envious cuz we only have one place to leave our leftovers....mainly due to our smaller, but nicer, quarters.

Andy will NEVER leave his leftovers in the litter box, but on the rug next to the litter box.....thankfully he does #1 in the litter box!!!!!!!!

    xxxxxxxxxx

  34. What a cat paradise and the big litterbox a dream for inside cats (mine have the whole neighbor area to poop, lol ) Therefore I don't know if they do such art works like your cats ! Kind of artistic modern sculptures. Hahaha !
I have two litter boxes in the garage for when it rains because then the little darlings are afraid to wet their botties !

    ReplyDelete
  35. We know how much pee and poo comes from 2 girls - we think your daddy deserves a medal for dealing with the output of 13 of you!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow, that's a lot of litter to scoop! We've never heard of using a rake to scoop the litter box, that's a serious tool. We really like the "Litter Lifter" scoop--works better than the cheap scoops.

We admire the cats' creative outputs. We don't have much of that here (thankfully, says our mom!)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yoor catio looks amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wow, those wading pools are a fantastic idea, who came up with that? We use the high sided clever cat boxes because Casper likes to kick ALL the litter out onto the floor and this way he can't :-)

I have three boxes for four cats, I know its recommended to have one box per cat and then one extra; that would put me at five boxes, but our house is small and I really don't have the room for that many boxes! I scoop the boxes twice a day and the cats follow me around to watch, then as soon as I'm finished somebody usually jumps in to squeeze something out. Thanks guys, I appreciate the help - LOL!

  39. That was very educational. We have several here that go outside the box. Norty kitties. Could Dad move here for awhile and do some scooping. Love the photos of the results. That is hysterical. Have a great Tuesday

  40. Mom said she remembered when she saw the 'pool' in one of your posts a while back and thought that was brilliant for all of you! But we have to ask how much litter does it take to fill it up? And you have a second one...wow! Mom has to sweep every day and clean up any messes -- Boo had a hairball last night on her light carpet. ICK. Any household cleaning secrets to share?

    Hello sweet Sylvester!

  42. Hey CC, thanks for the scoop, that was furry interesting!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm glad you posted about this. We have two litter boxes but really only like one.

Also... I suspect our house smells a little catty but not sure what to do about it. Hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  44. We all enjoyed learning the scoop on the poop.
Flynn: I used to have elevator butt when I was younger but mum used to put her hand on me and gently hold me down. Now she tells me I'm a good boy with a nice little squattie bottie. I like to pee outdoors the best where I can stand up like a mancat and blast the trees.
Eric: Mum tells me I pee as much as Niagra Falls and make nearly as much noise.
We both like to use the greenhouse too and mum has to go in there every few days and clean it up again.

  45. Holy Catfish! Those are monstorous! Who is the guilty party! M would probably faint dead away if she found that kind of deposit in my bank!! Interesting post cuz M knows how much work 3 kitties are - you are at least at six!! Boy, would I ever love to have your Catio!

  46. Oh, my about your coment on my blog about the hawk getting the pigeon, Katnip Kats. We have a feeling the hawk in our yard was going for the doves. I guess they don't want to waste their efforts on small, bony birds. Also the doves sit in a row along a tree branch, just looking to be picked off. However we have not actually ever seen a hawk be successful. We kind of side with the doves, but are excited to see the hawk too.

  47. fascinating pee and poo news!

  48. Your kitties make litterbox (or litterpool) art! Love that monolith -- that made me laugh!

We change to the "World's Best" cat litter recently and find that it really keeps down the smell, and our kitties like it.

It must be a major task everyday to clean all your pools and boxes -- but then, it's worth it, isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Kudos to your Dad for all his effort to keep your litter pools clean and nice smelling.

  51. Hmmm, you have given mum an idea to find a pool when summer time comes. That would eliminate the other smaller boxes.

  52. OK now I've seen it all! A post about poop and pee and guess what??? I was interested! Cat people are weird after all :-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Now that was educational!! Haha!! You guys must sure go through a lotta litter!! I want a swimming pool to pee in. I love to dig in the litter...I dig all the way to China sometimes...or so mom says!!

  59. That must be an awfully lot of work, but it sounds like you really stay on top of it! I was so surprised at how much more work two cats was than one, so I can't even imagine cleaning up after that many. (Scarlett really spoiled me! She's so easy.)

  60. Hey, what a neat set-up for you kitties. Jan had to build a barrier to keep the dogs out of our boxes.
