Kitties!
May Ling here. Today at The Lounge we are thankful that our Mommy is healing up really well (and quickly!) from her surgery.
Come closer, and I'll tell you why:
Because Mommy serves us our Stinky Goodness twice a day, whether or not there is food left in our bowls! When Mommy was out of commission Daddy was feeding us. He's great at treats and playing and stuff, but if there's a single molecule tablespoon of food in our bowls he figures we must not be hungry.
WRONG.
We are ALWAYS hungry, and Mommy understands this. She feeds us new Stinky Goodness morning and evening, and scrapes the leftovers into a fresh dish for us to nibble on...we love eating hard crusty food. Srsly!
What else are these fangs for?
Our next project is to convince Mommy to get on board with giving us a bag of treats--each--every evening.
Or the Claws of Doom will appear!
I love you, Mommy.
Happy Thursday!
XX May Ling XX
Yeah, OK, we got a Male Bein, an he is somewhat like that. He leaves our stinky goodness out THREE hours sometimes. Srly, it loses flavor after a 2 hours!
ReplyDeleteThank COD he replenishes it...
Can I borrow your human when she is better? My human is more like your male human when it comes to food!
ReplyDeleteWe never have hard crusty food on our plates because anything left over gets licked up by Grete woofie!
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, you look gorgeous today...especially those claws! Impressive.
What a way to start the day - looking into May Ling's blue eyes. Ahhhh! And then a reality check with the Claws of Doom. What is it with girl cats and those claws... ? But yes, fresh food should be available on demand AND leftovers not removed so that we can revisit them later if we so choose. It sounds like you need to train the man better. But he does some pretty useful things and Äiti says she'd still like to kidnap him to come and do some catio furnishing. Keep looking after your Mom now.
ReplyDeleteI would not DREAM of eating Stinky Goodness that has lost it fresh and glossy sheen and appetizing aroma! It is really a crime the number of times I have turned up my darling nosie at food that has overstayed its welcome in my dish by mere nanoseconds, causing the Human to have to shovel into the composting. I gotta keep her on her toes.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are adorable kitties!! Is that your house in the blog header?! It's AMAZING!! We're getting ready to move into our house and we're planning to make it VERY cat friendly lol
ReplyDeleteWow! She does a lot!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your Mom is healing up fast. Sounds like you need to teach your Dad a few things about stinky goodness.
ReplyDeleteHa..Ha..Ha..I think your Mommy is healing up really well not because how your dad feed you but it must be your Claws of Doom will appear!!!!! and then you said " I love you, Mommy ! " This is pretty tricky, May ling !!!
ReplyDeleteBut I won't blame you because Your Mommy's Menu sound great Serving Full Course Meal ! Not a single molecule tablespoon of food ..hee..hee..heh..that's so funny !
Lots of love and purrs
xxxx
So glad to hear that your mom is healing up quickly! And that she is spoiling you :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, we love it when it gets crunchy...and a bag of treats a day each would be really nice. Our mom won't do dat either.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy to read the your mommy is healing well!! Lots of love to her to continue feeling better!!!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, your daddy sounds like our daddy. :)
These pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGlad that your mommy is feeling better, lots of love and lights for her.
I'm sending purrs!
Luna
I am sure all that bending over to replace bowls is therapeutic for Mom too! Glad to know from your entry, and many of the comments, that I am not alone in leaving perfectly good food in the bowl, but still wanting fresh.
ReplyDeleteMoms are usually a pushover when it comes to treats ~ so we think wiv all yoor skills yoo will be able to retrain yoor mommy. We advise yoo it while she's still weakened from surgery! MOL!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your plan May Ling! There are never any crusty bits left in my bowl because Teddy hoovers them up.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet those clawrs are good for convincing!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad mom is feeling better and that you are now getting fed properly! :)

If you can convince your mom to give you each a bag of treats every day, let us in on the secret of how you did it!
ReplyDeleteWe're so glad your mom is healing well! Hurrah! All the positive energy, love, and Light from around the CB must be working! :-)
Dat is one swt of pawsome claws you have there Mai Ling. You are looking too irrestible for mom not to follow you wishes and give you more Stinky Goodness treats.
ReplyDeleteWe are happy your Mom is recovering so fast. Fenris eats our left over food. That's OK, cause we eats his left over food. Mommy says we are all very weird cause the dog prefers catfood and the cats prefer dogfood.
ReplyDeleteYou have eyes like my kitty-client, Serena. I'm afraid you would walk all over me. These scalliwags here get stinky stuff twice a day too and Lord Help Us if I forget. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteI think those claws are very good at convincing but your mum does not need any I think. Mum always takes up my old food and gives me fresh but dad says I will eat it when hungry, must be a man thing. Glad your mum is healing fast but dont do too much too soon. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteMay Ling you have BEAUTIFUL eyes...they are almost turquoise...Wow!!
ReplyDeleteOh I do so agree...stinky goodness must be fresh so that we can smell our 'kill'!! MOL And fresh stinky goodness must not be put on top of old stinky goodness.
We are glad to hear Mom is doing well,
Hugs Madi
Oh thank Cod, Mom is back to give you nice fresh food twice a day. We agree a whole bag of treats at night would be just purrfect. Sure glad to hear that Mom is bouncing back so quickly. Take care of her all you Lounge kitties.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your mom is getting better.
ReplyDeleteI get my stinky goodness twice a day, too.
Purrs,
Genghis
geez y'all need to train your dad better.
ReplyDeleteMay Ling - you definitely have magnificent "Claws Of Doom". Your Mommy will be safe but we think your Daddy should be VERY AFRAID.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Psst, we have a secret too. Our male person spoils us more than our female person, so when she's gone, we get to do all sorts of naughty stuff.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mom is doing well!
Hmmmm. We think you have both two footers pretty much under your claws...all of your claws. That's alot of claws...which is probably why you get smelly foods twice a day,and so many climbing apparatices, and grass and toys and...yah.We need to increase our numbers!Pronto.
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage
May Ling, if anyone could talk her into it, you're the one!
ReplyDeleteMay-Ling, it is so nice to see your gorgeous meezerness! We wish you luck in getting a bag of treats each day, for each of you! And if you accomplish it, we are teleporting over to visit...regularly!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mom is healing up well so your food routine can get back to normal. Maybe your daddy should take notes for next time he's in charge of your stinky goodness.
ReplyDeleteSuch great photo's of you Mei Ling! Seriously - just awesome! I agree, your man humanoid needs to learn real quick that we're ALWAYS hungry....Yum! Yum! Yum!
ReplyDeleteHope your girl humanoid gets better super-soon!
From a cute kitten x
Awwwwww May Ling - you are just so pretty with your fangs and your claws!! Yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd big YAY for your mum!!! Me and Charlie are glad she is resting and giving y'all extra extra stinky goodness!!! What a great mum!! Take care
x
Hmmmmmm.... Claws and LOve.... Interesting combo!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
We are glad your mum is healing well. If we have food left mum throws it away, but dad says to leave it, and that if we are hungry we will eat it. Mum still throws it away though.
ReplyDeleteMay Ling
ReplyDeleteYou have a way of being quite convincing!

Hi May Ling; you are a very prettyful kitty! I loves your claws! They look very well kept and sharp! It's very important that we keep our paws in excellent working condition for those unfortunate times when they become necessary!

Ms. Stella O'Houligan
I love to eat too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKisses from Brazil!
May Ling, you are such a doll. Moms are the best when it comes to feeding. I have to agree!
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best with that, May Ling!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we've learned that the dads aren't real good at feeding us. Our dad doesn't smoosh our food down as good as our mom does. He just sort of plops it in the dish and figures we can eat it. WRONG!! They never learn...
ReplyDeleteWe're glad your mom is feeling better and can feed you again!!
Your Mommy is like my Becki. When Becki's away, the others "try" to take care of me, but they're really pretty terrible at it.
ReplyDeleteYour Claws of Doom are quite terrifying! (To a human, of course. I am not terrified. But I am impressed.)
Mommy's are the best because they know how to do everything just right!! I'm glad to hear that yours is making a speedy recovery!! Purrs xo
ReplyDeleteHope your Mommy is feeling okay after her surgery. Never fun! I always love to come over here. It is so groovy! Lot of color and plenty of kitties :)
