The Table

Kitties!

Sweet Pea here.
Do you see this table?

This is MY table!

This is the table that used to have my little round bed on it.  When Mommy and Daddy rearranged the house they decided to dismantle and store it in the garage!  I was not consulted.
They are heathens and prefer to eat at the coffee table.
They said the room was too "crowded" with my table.
Whatever.

However, with the GrandPawrents visiting my table reappeared!  I staked out my territory right away...on top of this piece of fabric (with raw edges!) that Mommy uses for a tablecloth.  It's not even ironed!
Classy Mommy, classy.

OK, I've furred up the lame-o tablecloth enough.  Time to show the bum of disrespect...

...and go play!

Happy Friday!

  1. OMG THIS IS A FIRST!! You mean I am not the 700th COMMENT!!???? MOL!!

You made me laugh with that tablecloth, my Mom doesn't iron either and that looks like something she would do! "The bum of disrespect" MOL! I love it!

  2. There are items of furniture that one claims and never should release! That table is YOURS!

  3. We think we should start a petition to prevent your table being removed when the visitors leave. That table is just perfect for you. And we bet the cloth is really slidy so it can be a great source of fun and games as well as a fur magnet.

  4. That's why my human prefers lace tablecloths - she does not iron, and they don't show wrinkles as much. And I like them too - cat fur clings to them, and often humans don't notice it... until it's too late.

  5. Well, if *they* think there's no *room* for YOUR table, then I say, Get rid of the giant FAKE cat! Get rid of that unnecessary cabinet with the charger on top! What's that thing doing in YOUR dining area anyway? And come to think of it, what's that DESK doing in YOUR table area?

Get rid of YOUR table???? As if!

  6. I think you should hold a table "sit one". We will all pop round and crowd on the table so the hoomans won't be able to lift the weight of it :)

  17. Oh Sweet Pea, don't be so hard on your mom. I never iron my tablecloths either. (I, uh, never iron. I get my husband to do it.)

  18. At least the only thing on the table is a tablecloth - our dining room table has a box, a shelf and mom's toolbox on it. MOL

    Love to all of you.

  22. You think yours are heathens!! We don't even get a tablecloth on our kitchen table. And it's a magnet for all their junk. It's rarely used for it's purpose, "dining". The people here don't "dine" they "eat". Usually in front of the tv.

  23. It's always good to remind the humans who is in charge. We think the bum of disrespect should make them hear your disgruntled message loud and clear!

  28. Hi Sweet Pea! It is so great that your table is out for you for a little while while the grandparents visit! That makes it more special for you to spend time with, since you don't get to do it all the time! And hey, we think that table cloth looks great for hanging out on!
