Summer Flowers!

Kitties!

::three paw taps::

The Baby here.
Um, I'm a little busy right now...here's Mommy to take all y'all Outside and see what's new!

Thanks, Bibby Bibbington!
Let's go for a stroll...

We have oranges!

The lantana Mr. Crazypants planted this spring is blossoming.

Our desert willow is in full flower.  We didn't have it trimmed back last fall so it's quite a bit larger this year.

It does a big show in the spring, and continues to flower until fall.

Purple butterfly bush.

The bees love this plant; we have two plants and two squillion bees.

Naturally, none of them were in a mood to pose for the camera!

Most importantly, the CatNip garden is growing like gangbusters.
The Horde is already enjoying nightly Nipfests.
I'm going to make a mojito with the leaves one of these days...I'll keep you posted!

Happy Thursday!

  14. That desert willow is particularly gorgeous. Beautiful flowers on it. We love to see your garden because the desert flora is not what we see here, obviously.

And your catnip looks pawsome! We were a bit worried our nomming of ours the other evening killed it, but it seems to have survived our "attention."

  19. Sorry I've been MIA--I've been SICK! Thus leading to the destruction of my OWN garden...I killed a few potted plants this week just from forgetting to water them. We should take a note from your book--your garden is delightful!

  20. What a great garden; and here I was excited because we're starting to get buds on our Japanese lilac bushes (which were planted in late May...so they bloom late May/June).

Baby, thank you for the show and tell.

  22. Wow that is a great garden you have - that is cool that you have oranges - we can't really grow them here because we don't have the right weather. And boy that catnip plant is great - it is nice you get to nip out every night!!

(Oh, this is Amy & The House of Cats - we are still having trouble commenting on some blogs so we have to use OpenID on those)

  29. Dear the Baby

how clever of you to make your mom do all the work for you! Now, while she's out, work on the daddypeople. Menpeoples are always a softer touch, and I guarantee you he knows where the stinky goodness is kept! Have you decided how many babycats you're having yet? Hahahahaha!

  30. Wonderful treat. The flowers, not the nip. We do not enjoy nip over here. We are too sophisticatted for that kind of silliness.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks for the stroll! We kinda got stuck by the nip garden and ignored the rest of the stuff...oh and by the way, those "oranges" are greens....
