Kitties!
::Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz::
Mizzz Bumble Bee here.
Me and my zisters are very buzzzy thizzz time of year, manufacturing honey and ztoring pollen for the upcoming winter monthzzz.
It'zzz a good thing for our hive that this nizzze Mexzzzican Honeyzzzuckle is in bloom, we can make one lazzzt honey run.
I'm a thorough and efficient worker.
I go all the way down into each blozzzom, collecting nectar.
But there are a few perilzzz...
Namely the Feline Apiarizzzt!
Zo I ztick to the flowerzzz higher up.
I might have to waggle and danzzze out a Job Hazard Analyzzzizzz form when I get back to the hive.
Thizzz Beekeeper izzz a little too...um..."Pawzzz On", if you know what I mean!
Back to work...

BEE careful!
ReplyDeleteOkay, it was the most obvious, least funny comment we could write, but creativity has left us. And we're jealous as there's nothing so exciting ehre right now.
That is some hoppin' the Baby is doin'
ReplyDeleteIf The Baby doesn't get stung, it isn't her fault! She sure is trying as hard as she can.
ReplyDeleteYears ago the mom had a dog named Ninny, and she would hang out in the flower gardens & eat bees. She'd shake her head when she caught one & it stung her in the mouth. But she'd just shake it off and go catch another. It never bothered her, and she ate them for years!
Ah! Bees,
ReplyDeleteThey is one of my favorites prey!
Happy hunting!
Kisses
Nellie
Oh my Baby, bee careful! MOL! You are an agile beekeeper! Great pics.
ReplyDeleteI know you were really protecting that bee, The Baby. It's important to have them around!
ReplyDeleteLook at the Baby climbing up! That is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know bees spoke with an accent! Isn't The Baby worried about stuff like, oh, getting stung?
ReplyDeleteHa! Great post. I love the bee's dialogue. And The Baby is so funny, as always.
ReplyDeleteThe Baby, That next-to-last (we were going to say "penultimate," one of the Human's students' vocabulary words this week, but it seemed too pretentious for a kitteh, don't you think?) photo seems to defy gravity. Even for YOU that seems excessive. How is you doing such a thing?
ReplyDeleteBe CAREFUL, the Baby! Though Mr Bee seem to be more careful of you. Love that picture of you jumping up to peek at Mr Bee. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Baby, you look so elegant checking on the bee's just dangling there with pointy paws. I bet that honey is going to taste very yummy :)xx
ReplyDeleteI love the ballet pose Baby, I don't think you could point your paws any more if you tried! Now do perservere with the beekeeping, gotta keep those workers in line! =^..^=
ReplyDeleteGreat jumps Baby!!
ReplyDeleteHope the bees dont sting ya! But those sure are GREAT pictures...
ReplyDeleteAh jumps! Before I read the comments, I was thinking it looked like The Baby was hanging from the trellic by her front paws leaving the back ones dangling! Still a pretty amazing shot!
ReplyDeleteuh, trellis..
ReplyDeleteWatch out, The Baby! I've heard those bees give quite the nasty bitey!
ReplyDeleteLittle Bee!!! You are doing a brilliant job pollinating all these beautiful blooms and creating yummy honey! Yay for you!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you certainly keep The Baby on gorgeous pawsies! Take care
x
Great shots of the bees and The Baby! Our human thinks we're weird because we don't bother with little flying bugs. We only go for the birds!
ReplyDeleteBaby!!!! You are amazing...but don't get a stinger in your pawsie!
ReplyDeleteMom and dad won't let us eat bees. Jonesie won't either...she says they are very important to her garden. They are her best little helpers...along with lady bugs.
five words i've never said together before: "you are an excellent pollinator."
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful stretch Baby - you are so very slim and what lovely pointy paw toes. Be careful of the bees rear end we would hate to see you with a sting on your nose!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Baby, that is some kind of fancy jump there. Hope you did't get stung. Great pictures of the bees. Take care.
ReplyDeleteBe careful of those stings but whaat wonderful pictures they are. I just love that climbing one. Brilliant post.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteBaby I heard things were a buzz at your house. MOL WTO scaling that wall.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
The Baby, you are The Bravest!
ReplyDeleteBaby Bee Good! Great pics :)
ReplyDeleteHi Mizz Bee...look out for The Baby! She is an excellent hunter!
ReplyDeleteMy little kitty is obsessed with trying to catch bees!!! Bosco not so much, ever since he got stung when he was little. Do yours ever get stung?
ReplyDelete=^..^=
Don't get stung!!!!
ReplyDeleteGo Baby Go! But watch that stinger thingy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures of the flowers AND
ReplyDeleteThe Baby. I, too, thought she was climbing the trellis, but now wonder if she was jumping. Either way, she is stunning.
Oh oh ~ I am thinking a bee sting on the paw would not be so much fun! Careful kitty!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
We learned a long time ago not to mess with the likes of you, Miss B! We hope The Baby learns too...without getting hurted!!
ReplyDeletemol! Bee careful, The Baby! you'll want some protective paw-ware :)
ReplyDeletePip, smidgen, minnie, Hollie
Don't get stung Baby.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are BEEyouteaful! We have honeysuckles but they have white flowers. The Baby is really *hanging* around watching the bees!
ReplyDeleteAaaack! Watch out for the kitties, Miss Bee! I yell at my dogs all the time for eating my honeybees. Less honey in my hives every time they eat one. Poor you, just trying to do your job and some big ole cat wants to eat you. Good job avoiding the big kitty!
ReplyDeleteThe Baby looks adorable climbing that wall! Be careful Bee folks.
