A re-enactment bug |
Sorry it's not the actual insect, he got nommed.
You know how that goes.
*thluurrrrrrp*
And yes, it was big enough to share.
Happy Wednesday!
XX CC and Sweet Pea XX
That's one big bug! It looks nice and juicy too. Who's the lucky one who gets to nom it?
ReplyDeleteCrunchy!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that's a little beyond the amuse-bouche category, straying into appetizer territory. A bargain at $11.95.
ReplyDeleteDid the waiter split it onto two plates for you at no additional charge?
Tasty! And we know it's really bug because you measured it with a fine Finnish Fiskar's steel ruler - the best in the world!
ReplyDeleteWhen your jaws clamped down, did it squirt out tasty juices? And how did it suit the digestion ? No problems coming out the other end, we hope. And yes, we know your Mom will delight in telling us.
Holy cow that is disgusteen!!! It always amazes me what cats will eat.
ReplyDeleteYummy! We luf al fresco style dining!
ReplyDeletePee Ess - was the re-enactment bug nommed too?
Gahh! That is scary! Thank goodness you kitties nommed it.
ReplyDeleteEW!!! EW!!!! EW!!!!! EW!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOooo, I bet it was very crunchy! Like the kitty version of potato chips!
ReplyDeleteWow! That was huge! You guys are some brave hunters!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's just gross! I'm glad we don't have big ole bugs like that in the Pacific NW - there'd be bug parts all over the house - the froggies are bad enough! T.
ReplyDeleteWe can just imagine the crunch and squishy noises it made :)xx
ReplyDeleteHope it was tasty. I don't like those creatures. Have a great day kitties.
ReplyDeleteMommy here : OMG. I had to scroll down quickly. Roaches give me goosebumps. OMG. My hair is still standing on ends. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteSo long as that roach is male an doesn't have an egg sac!!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to have roach "motels" in Israel. Some of the little varmints were HUGE. You could break your teeth on them :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a crunchy tasty treat! Yay! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Oh my goodness. That's not a bug, that is wildlife!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYikes! That is one heck of a stinger he has there too. Good job on deading him.

ReplyDeleteWOW a bug buffet!
ReplyDeleteMum says "Yuk". We say that looks yummy!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
A big YUM from us!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's one large bug, but it's still not as big as our hissing cockroach! :-)
ReplyDeleteMomsaid it reminded her of the so-called Palmetto Bugs in Florida..huge nasty flying roaches. A couple inches long not including antennae.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delectable looking bug. At least you can make a meal of it, not like the pathetic little bugs we get here.
ReplyDeleteOh no grooooss! And huge! I should not have ignored your warning!
ReplyDeleteUgh! You boys only you would go for this bug, take it's phto and then post. I say eeeekkkkkkkkkk!
ReplyDeleteThat is what I call a bug and yes bugs are made for nomming... Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteGaaack! See, we have snow and winter and all that crap, but we don't have roaches the size of Hummers!!!! THere's an upside to winter!!!
ReplyDeleteMom say ARGGHHHHHH!
ReplyDeleteEww, yuck! LOL!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you DID get your food from Mr. Chewy, right?
OMC thank goodness I haven't had my din-din yet 'cause I'm positive I would have lost it......Gross.
ReplyDeleteMOL
Hugs Madi
OMC !
ReplyDeleteThat was one BIG bug !
I understand that you could share it :)
MOL! Meowm says she remembers those from when she lived there! And she shuddered and squealed like a little girl when she saw this picture.
ReplyDeleteYOu're right. That Woman just horked. There was this one time... She was at her office and there was one that was so big you could hear it walking!!! N.A.S.T.Y.
ReplyDeleteThe idea that one of you guys ate this fills my feral kitty heart with such pride!

YUCK.REALLY GROSS!! Ok that was obviously LP.We think it looks lonely, and tasty and crunchy. We'll be right over to keep it company! Crunch, crunch, crunch.
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage xo
Our human said it looks like da huge roaches in Florida. We've never seen one and are disappointed. I'm sure he was mighty crunchee and tastee!
ReplyDeleteThat's one big bug! We can see why he provided a buffet!
ReplyDeleteBetter in your belleh than crawling around the house!
ReplyDeleteHey, there really was a bug! And a big'un too!! YUMMY!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bug! Did ya have to hack up a hair ball after eating it? Just wonderin'
ReplyDeleteMmmm crunchy and juicy...more please.
ReplyDeleteMom's retching in the corner...she's a silly like that. We'd probably be a little afraid of a bug that size. Good on you guys for protecting your beans from a nasty bug!
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, Saku (Mom Eileen)
I'm sure it was enjoyed at the time, but I hate roaches. Our roaches in MO are thankfully smaller than that, but I have to say that if I never have to see another 5" long roach in Florida, I'll die happy.
ReplyDeleteThat is a big ol' bug for sure! Good job dedding it!
ReplyDeleteok...we take it back...we don't want to see the bug, mol! that one qualifies as too big and hairy for us to wanna mess with...no way would we eat it, much to our mom's chagrine! we applaud you brave Lounge Kitties :)
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Ewwwwww....thats a roach isn't it??
ReplyDeleteOkay, Mommy's doing the Freak Out while we're all gathered by the screen salivating. What's wrong wif this picture?
ReplyDelete
