Tortie Tuesday

Kitties!

May Ling here.

Other than right now Mommy's making noises like she's trying to expel a jackass (can I say that?) out of her lungs, it's been pretty quiet around here the last few days.  Daddy is his normal crazypants self (just wait 'til tomorrow when you see what he got a picture of!) and we are, naturally, rather busy with nursing duties and other Important Catly Business.

We're getting lots and lots of cuddle time on the bed; Tiny Johnson even decided that he wasn't so very hungry and he and The Baby slept together!  Of course Mommy was in the middle, but still.
In between eruptions of Mount Snotsuvius she waves the All Time Favorite Toy (ATFT) around the bedroom for us to chase, which we love.  It's always fun to play in a new venue and the bedroom has all kinds of fun obstacles to hide behind and leap out from to kill the ribbon dead.
We'd like to thank you for all your purrs and well wishes; Mommy is planning to go back to work on Friday (her Monday) and she knows your thoughts have helped her get better.

Oh, and since some of you were wondering--we don't have kitty gas masks, unfortunately.  That's why I'm in the cat tree's hut right now.  And she has the temerity to complain about the odor of our output in the litter boxes!
hmph.

Happy Tuesday!

  2. May Ling, you look so tortilicious in that pciture. And I am glad you are well away from the nasty gases - it sound like Mommy is producing bad stuffs from both ends. We hope that your play area is well safe and regularly fumigated and ATFT has a very long stick.
Do Mommy's cough eruptions disturb your beauty sleep ? If so maybe she should go back to work.
But in the meantime, maybe you guys can get away with your very own competitions to see who can produce the best gases, as you can blame them on Mommy - or is that just something we mancats do ?
Oh, Äiti says 'get well soon' to Mommy. We just say keep the nurses occupied and fed well as a reward - they deserve it!

  29. Oh May Ling, what a stunning picture of your beautiful face! We hope your mum is feeling much much better. All your attentions will surely have helped.

I do have a very important question for Sweet Mama Pea. When you got to the bottom of the ramp in yesterday's post, did you stop to clean off any germs you might have picked up? Because I do that ALL THE TIME!

  36. That Woman wanted me to drop you a note that she is a complete ignoramus (as opposed to an igorina). She just now got your reference about the ALL CAPITALS.

Sheesh, I think She's working too hard. She says she hopes the little gift will get to you given that it makes noise & the post office may think she's shipping drugs, (which of course is stupid given that she would have taken all those!)

    love, kisses & kleenex

  37. We're so sorry your Mom is so very sick. It sounds to me like she might need antibiotics if it has gotten into her lungs. I'm a veteran of bronchitis, so I know whereof I speak.

It's so kind of you kitties not to fight and to join together to help her recover. I know Mommy appreciates it 'cause from time to time, she gives you a good ribbin'!

Please go to the doctor, Mommy, to see if you need some medication.
