Mystery SOLVED!

Kitties!

Boy, there's no fooling you guys!
What clever drawers you all are.
Rupert was the first Mystery Photobomber,

...and The Baby was the second one.

Next time, we'll have to think up something harder.

It's been a traumatic day around here, kitties.  First, Daddy got up early to go to an appointment, which discombobulated our morning schedule.  Second, Mommy decided we had enough old, icky, crusty leftover stinky goodness in our bowls from last night so we could starve didn't need fresh this morning.  Thirdly, they both worked like fiends around the house today and ignored us!

Unacceptable.

Don't worry--we got revenge, via the time-honored tradition of Inappropriate Urination.  Although from our standpoint, it was rather apropos.
Mommy must have felt guilty, because she didn't scold any of us, and we got extra luvvins, too!  But she's still gonna get squished extra tight tonight in bed...

Happy Thursday!

  2. "old, icky, crusty leftover stinky goodness in our bowls from last night" is yer Moms idea of acceptable morning food??? WE hope the "inappropriate urination" was on her shoes! WHILE she was wearin them...

  4. Umm... now here's a question: why were they so busy? And is there something going on that we should all know about?

  5. Squishing extra tight in bed is not enough.... you guys should get on top of both their heads and stay put for the night!

  6. A time-honored tradition, indeed! Passed from kitteh to kitteh til it is ingrained in our very DNA. You did us proud. Now, how bout sum yak to go wif?

  7. Silly Mommy. You just add fresh to the old crusty until it all crusts over and gets smelly

  8. Your humans are lucky they got off so easily after ignoring you all day!

  9. Wow - Daddy gets up early and you peemail everywhere. You are perhaps even more sensitive to routine than us. And what was Mommy thinking???? That deserves more than a peemial. We hope you planted some hidden yakky furballs somewhere.

  10. I want to know why there was any stinky goodness left in those bowls? George, Gracie and Bella lick theirs clean up - almost like they've been through the dishwasher!

Speaking of inappropriate urination - a neighborhood cat (male, not fixed) has learned how to use the cat door here at the farm and peee-eww - he's decided to mark some territory - The Shepherd is not pleased at all (well, neither am I - but he throws rocks) T.

  14. These humans need reminding of their duties sometimes - they seem to think they know best! We're sure you will think of some sort of revenge very soon.

  19. Hahaha...that is very effective as a revenge! And you were not scolded but got extra loving. Your mom must have been feeling really guilty!

  20. Ain't nothing like a little peeing or yakking to remind humans where da priorities need to be!

Our human throws out old foodz after a few hours. Sissy has a delicate digestive system. We don't want it upset--phewweee! She can stink up the whole house!

  21. I guess I only got the mystery half-right! I was distracted by the thing in the picture with Rupert that was actually shaped like a bomb. Way too literal!

Daddies don't care about such things as fresh food as much as Mommies. I guess maybe Daddy should be the one to suffer the very real consequences.

    Clean up, please!

  29. Yep, peeing all over certainly was appropriate revenge for having to eat old crusty stinky goodness.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Our mom is pulling that same trick lately! Doesn't she know we always need fresh stinky goodness in the morning?

    ReplyDelete

Although we think May Ling would like all the crusty stuff, right?
