Easy Sunday with Sheebie

Friends & Kitties!

Saturday Evening:

May Ling here, in control of Mommy.
She is obeying my every whim...
you are getting sleeeeeeepy...
...and I have decreed that she shall sit beneath the cozy sherpa blanket and watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics with me!
Daddy recorded them last night, because Mommy had to go to bed early.

tut tut, Mommy, nice double chin!
She got up before the butt-crack of dawn at 2:15 AM this morning to go to work and she is too tuckered to type.
Sheebie will return next Sunday with her normal (well, normal for her) scrivening drivel.
But for right now, I'm the only laptop she needs.
purrrrRRRRRRrrrrrrRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr

Happy Sunday!

  2. I swear the only reason Glogirly HAS a laptop is because I simply refuse to become a lapcat.

I better not let Glogirly see you....she's gonna get some ideas! ::shhhh::

  6. Ha! I get up about that time every day and have for more than 25 years! I've never heard it called the butt crack of dawn before! Oddly, I believe I rather like it. hahaha!

  7. We are aware of all kinds of crazy work shifts, but that one sounds like the craziest! Tell Mommy to rest up and also that we had to record the opening ceremonies too because there was no way with the baby that any of the humans there could actually watch it on Friday night. Mom will watch it on our dvr when she gets back home.

  8. I thought the opening ceremony was rather esoteric and actually even as a Brit, I didn't understand some of it!! But then, pop culture stopped for me in 1973 and I have not very much good to say about the NHS!! Seeing the athletes troop in from places as diverse as Saudi Arabia and The Virgin Islands made up for it a bit!!

  12. Your sweet Mom is lucky to have all of you to show her how to grab a quick catnap before her very early work hours!! OMCs if Mom got up that early I would demand to be fed 'cause when Mom is up so is my appetite.

  20. Hi May Ling - I hope your mommy enjoyed the opening ceremonies as much as I did - that Sir Paul is a pretty hot guy for someone in his 70's - and I loved how they put the torch together - ah technology! T.
