Kitties!
Mommy is an instigator. Among other things.
She bought eggs at the grocery store. Innocent enough, right?
WRONG.
Because when she put out the egg carton for us to destroy, she laced it with copious amounts of our homegrown catnip!
Chaos ensued.
Sweet Pea and Rupert are regular sparring partners...
...so even though there are Swatty Paws and Airplane Ears,
no kitty's feeling were hurt.
Although Sweet Pea's tail feathers did get a bit ruffled!
Happy Tuesday!
XX Sweet Pea and Rupert XX
pee ess: Mommy bought our flannel sheets HERE.
You silly guys!!! but we're just curious, what was May Ling doing during all this? ... just wondering...innocently!
ReplyDeleteWow, that was a good surprise! Catnip in an egg carton -- very thoughtful of the human staff!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun!! Hope you both got some nip.
ReplyDeletePurrs ... Rainbow
Love these candid shots. Mommy's always thinking of ways to entertain you kitties.
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time mom can tear the egg carton in half and there won't be a tussle over it. Then again, maybe the tussle is half the fun!
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Sweet Pea looks quite ruffled indeed. You've given me an idea, though... Scuse me while I go give the fuzzballs some nip.
ReplyDeleteCall that a tussle - more like a hug in!
ReplyDeleteMebbe Mommy should cut it into next time. Trubble-maker. HaHaMeow!
ReplyDeleteYou two wrassled so hard, I think you both forgot about the catnip!
ReplyDeleteSweet Pea, It's okay to look a little rumpled after a wrassle, darling. Go curl up and maybe someone will teleport over to help you smooth down those furs.
ReplyDeleteOh, and GO GIANTS!
Good tussles! But I love egg cartons just plain. Great fer bunny-kicking! ~ IZA
ReplyDeleteSuch shenanigans!
ReplyDeleteThe human nefer thought of egg cartons. They'd have, well, bird egg smell on them.
ReplyDeletewow, what a tussle! What a rumpled floofy tail! But since it's not The Baby, I'm sure she'll smooth those down quickly, no?
ReplyDeleteThank´s for sharing pictures on your great tussle game :)
ReplyDeleteThat looked like a fun tussle, but who got to win the nippy egg box :)xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have had a fun time. Hugs to all your cats.

ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Who'd've thought of a magic egg carton?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I loved the suggestion about the vet!
It looks like fun to me. I'd love another kitty to wrestle around with. M & D just aren't quite enough.
ReplyDeleteCatnip in an egg carton? It sounds like your Mommy instigated some FUN. Nice tussling, you two. :)

ReplyDeleteRupert, I didn't know you two were sparring partners! You look to have come out of that well groomed as always.

ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
Go cats go! I had Sweet Pea by a tail and it looks like I won!
ReplyDeleteWell sometimes a good rumble clears the air!
ReplyDeleteWe'll say! Those are some really ruffled tail feathers. We think your momma did that on purpose.
ReplyDeleteHahaha~~
ReplyDeleteThat is lots of fun!!!!
I enjoy your wrestling shows!!
I have nine billion egg cartons in the garage (everyone gives them to us because of our chickens). Who know I could use them as cat toys, or cat-drug delivery systems!?!?
ReplyDeleteMy FuzzyButtZ LOVE strawberry containers - cardboard or the plastic kind, without anything on them AS IF they are laced with catnip. They actually know strawberries are in the grocery bag the moment I come in the house and break into the bags! I have to cut up the containers - lids and bottoms, to have enough for my LucKy Se7en to each have a part to roll onto. When I clean the strawberries, and remove the green tops I toss those on the floor for them too to add to the pleasure. They don't eat them, but it seems to add to their play and of course means I have a mess to clean up in about an hour, but anything for My FuzzyButtZ!
ReplyDeleteMummy, you and that home grown NIP! You just luv stirring up a ruckus!
