Kitties!
Salem here, just minding my own business, relaxing on the floo...
HEY!! What in the world is POKING me?!?
Oh my Cod, these are the biggest blades of grass I've ever seen!
What's that Mommy--they're cattail leafs? No way! That's silly. One, there's no such thing as a green kitty; Two, cats grow furs and not leafs; and Three, you're a human.
Mommy, I don't care what you say these things are...
...I'm calling 'em FUN...
...and they need to DIE!
Uh oh.
The killer instinct is catching.
Gotta act cool.
Maybe if I pretend they aren't there they'll disappear.
TO BE CONTINUED...
Happy Tuesday!
XX Salem XX
That looks pretty tasty, Salem, but I think your mommy needs to schedule playtime with only one kid at a time, beginning with YOU!
ReplyDeleteThose cat tails don't stand a chance. Just sit on them Miss Salem.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are all very welcome to come over and play in the snow, and then we can have a sauna and eat salmon and sausage. Just bring your Daddy so he can make all sorts of things for us, and your Mommy: we'd like to see if Finnish customs will let her in the country!

Is it called cat-tail grass because it makes the white kitty tails curl up?!
ReplyDeleteOh!! Be still my heart: Just LOOK at that curl in The Baby's tailio!! And those sweet JLLs--I.....I....I can't........breathe...........
ReplyDeleteThose cattail leaves really drew a crowd, didn't they?
ReplyDeleteThose look like so much fun! But, is it too weird that they're called "cattails"? MOL!
ReplyDeletetraining the cats to attack cattails? With so many cattails in the house, that should prove crazy!!
ReplyDeleteWow what a totally awesome toy!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun for all
ReplyDeleteCattails? That must be one strange looking kitty with a tail like that. And now he is missing his tail! Shocking.
ReplyDeleteWe thinks your hooman in pulling your tail....so to speak. Does look like fun however.
Purrs,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew

ReplyDeleteWow! Fun times, eh ? =)
ReplyDeletereason number three explains away most anything.
ReplyDeleteLOoks like a great cat toy!
ReplyDeleteI thought that first one said... relaxing on the loo..."
ReplyDeleteAnd then I lol'd. srsly.
those do look like fun. but Salem, we have discovered that ignoring your siblings DOES NOT make them go away..... sigh
ReplyDeleteOMC !
ReplyDeleteThat is THE talest grass straw I have ever seen !
Wow, those are tall and probably dead by now ;-0
ReplyDeleteThat is what I love about CATS!!!
ReplyDeleteThey can make fun out of anything!!!
Madi especially likes to help her Dad pay bills....(not his favorite thing to do)but lo and behold w Madi's help it might not be fun per se but it is not as aggravating to give your money away when she is there.
Hugs C
You´re purrrrrfect kittens!
ReplyDeleteCat tail leafs? WE have to have a serious talk with our Meowm about this.....she has never brought any of those home for us!
ReplyDeleteHope you get to have more fun with those, and the other kitties don't take them over completely!
My goodness, my goodness, those things are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSalem, you're right. Those don't look like cat tails at all. They are like snake tails, or tall green plant tails. Anyway, you are correct in concluding that they must DIE!
ReplyDeleteMust get some of these.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of the playful kitties!!!
ReplyDeleteThat last photo where CC's eyes are all giant. We are still laffing!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Ms. Stella O'Houligan
What a toy to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIn case you need more meows at your party I could come over. (Don't tell Scully though cuz he hogs everything).
ReplyDeleteJada
Psst Salem
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get some of those?
Someonepick Spitty up off the floor. We feared for his wellbeing upon seeing picture #3.
ReplyDeleteWe have a bunch of cattails everywhere surrounding the ponds around our house! We must remind mom to get some blades next spring!
Pee Ess: Trivia, Did you know Native American (Indian) women used cattails as tampons in the olden days?
Oh my! Spitty. Nuff sed here...
ReplyDeleteThat looks like lots of fun. Did Daddy find those for you when he went out on his bike ride last weekend, MOL?
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
you have the most FUN Mommy ever!
ReplyDeleteNext you'll have to bring in some pussywillows. That should really get 'em going!
ReplyDeleteKill those evil cattails! After you get all the fun out of them, of course.
ReplyDeletetoo late Salem, you attracted a crowd! Now those cat tails are really gonna die!
ReplyDeleteWoooweee! Now that's some fun!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute post! Looks like you guys had a fun day :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! Look at all the kitties they attracted! And in such a short time too.
