Sheebasaurus!

Friends and Kitties!

Sheebie here.

It's been windier than H-E-Double Toothpicks here...which means no bike riding, (bummer)...but the good news is that the gales blew the plastic tarp off of the new big-ass lizard that was delivered to the Park last week!
Scott and I walked over to check it out.
These ginormous eggs are made to crawl through.
So I did!

Then it was time to scale Mount Lizard...

This thing is seriously HUGE.  Kids (of all ages, mind you) are gonna have a blast scaling this guy.
(Or gal, after all, there are eggsesses laying around.)

Giddyup!

I love you, Giant Lizard.
Things are really coming along in the Park, I'll have more to show you next week.

But I can't let you go without showing you the french bread I baked:
They were excellent.  Crisp outside, chewy and yeasty inside--we ate half a loaf for dinner.

I only have one day off this week cos I have to attend a training seminar, so my the Kats commenting will be sparse(r) than usual...so if y'all feel any whiskers on the back of your necks--well, it's just us lurking.

Have a Happy Sunday, and a Happy Week, too!

  25. That's a great George you have there!

  26. That is one giant George. But no match for your lot, methinks. They can hunt as a pack, I assume ?!

  27. How cool! You definitely made us smile by riding the lizard. We are a little concerned by the size of the eggs. They look too big to have come from that lizard, so there must be another more ginormous lizard wandering your neighborhood...Aaaaak!

In response to your question of how Baskin and Abner got such cool names...well, Mommy was apparently craving ice cream. She almost named us Baskin and Robbin or Ben and Jerry. For Abner's name, she likes to name cats unusual names that sound like they would be for a grandpa (hence, Ambrose and Clarence), and "Abner" fit the bill.

  28. Wow, giant lizards AND home-baked french bread? There's a whole lotta good stuff going on at your house! :)

  29. Sheebie you literally crack us up!!
OMCs mom would so love to be behind you in the tunnel....but she would let you walk up the lizard all by your lonesome 'cause mom trips over lines in the sidewalk.

DID YOU MAKE ENOUGH BREAD TO SHARE WITH THE CLASS?
