Kitties!
Sylvester here, basking and recharging my Catteries.
All eighteen pounds of 'em.
The Sun is finally warm again and it makes me verreh, verreh happy!
I don't know why the peeps allow it to get chilly and cloudy outdoors once a year, it's a Bad Idea if you ask me. Mommy whines about the cold weather, but I bet she could do something about it if she really applied herself...
...the lazy wench.
If it weren't for the whole thumbs situation, and well, to be honest, the scritching, and smooching, and grooming, and rubbins, and... and...
Oh, just never mind.
*sigh*
Realistically we all know we can't just up and fire our Moms (and/or Dads) no matter how incompetent they are.
Although it would be nice if they would fix the sun situation.
I mean, how hard could it be?
Happy Monday!
XX Sylvester XX
We agree with you, Sylvester. We vote for all sunpuddles, all the time! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Sometimes I think humans mess with the weather just to spite us!
ReplyDeleteIt's tough Sylvester. I'm sure you'll survive though
ReplyDeleteYes, indeedy we agree. And when you have solved the problem there, come over here for the advanced version ofMissing Sun Syndrome' and solve it !
ReplyDeleteI hear Arizona has some sunny days, And baseball, so there's that.
ReplyDeleteSure you can fire your Mommy. We did it! We have currently an opening for her position, but so far no takers! sigh!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe what you really need is a petite super cute and affectionate and adorable tuxie princess. Even if the sun puddles don't show up, I could keep you warm.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Bennette
We agree wif you absolutely although we have too much sun here.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's not like they don't know how to turn the on/off switches when it comes to those lights / fan. What's so different with the sun?
ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous, Sylvester! What a sweet face you have! I am smitten!
ReplyDeleteSmoochies to your big family

What would the term be for "first world problems" for cats? ^.^
ReplyDeleteMr Sylvester!!! These are profound questions worth mulling over a bowl of treats!! Yay! Take care

If you lived where I live it is very cold most of the year, enjoy your lovely sunshine. :)
ReplyDeleteSylvester, that's why you've got fur pyjamas, buddy. They obviate the need for climactic shenanigans! >^,,^<
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel... nothing recharges my batteries like hanging in the sun!
ReplyDeleteWe vote for endless sunpuddles and
ReplyDeleteless rain puddles.
Hugs madi your BFFF
Purrhaps you should figure out a way to recharge Mom's Catteries. hehe.
ReplyDeleteOh Sylvester my dear kitty . . . if only us mums could sort out the weather let me tell you Ireland would be warm and dry everyday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your warms . . . we are have dry weather here today but NOT so warm xx
Yeh, it's like "why won't you light the fire when it is 30C outside?"...they just don't get our neeeeeeeeed for warmth!
ReplyDeleteThe REAL Maple Syrup Mob
xxxxxxx
come live in minnesota some winter and then you'll really hear some whining.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty selfish.
ReplyDeleteYou are a saint, Sylvester, for putting up with that sort of negligent behavior.
We get upset when our Mum sings and it rains Sylvester - she must have been singing more than usual this year as we've been waterlogged!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Ooh, you gorgeous, 18 lbs of tuxie man-cat, you!!! I'd love to cuddle you (and the rest of the Lounge Kats, including Scouty too)...
ReplyDeleteMy Mum is still laughing. She said she loves your post and you are so funny and smart! I thought I wanted to go out yesterday, but that wind was murder on my body... I moved like lightning to get back in! Meow...
ReplyDeleteIt's sunny here but very chilly! I whine about cold weather, too. Maybe we let the sun situation not fixed so that we can have more snuggling time with our fur babies :-)
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you.. The sun has been out here a little but no warmth in it yet. Hopefully spring will have sprung.. Hugs GJ xx

ReplyDeleteI've given up.
You can find me under my blanket.
Do you think I can get room service???
; ) Katie
I absolutely agree with you Sylvester. After all the Catio is supposed to be a covered SUN room, and what is a SUN room without the SUN?
ReplyDeleteYou might have to ask Ceiling Cat to intervene when the situation gets too desPURRate!
So handsome you are sitting there in the sun!
ReplyDeleteWith extra insulation, how do you feel the cold? Can you believe Merlin was once 18 lbs. We can't fire but we can punish, ya know ;-)
ReplyDeletekitties perhaps you should all go to the garage and sniff out the boxes in there. find out where the "operating manual" is and you know humans come with manuals on how to operate and train them. then you're all set.
ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Please send US some sunshine! It's been such a dismal, grey, dreary, LONG winter!
ReplyDeleteSylvester! You´re s lovely!
ReplyDeleteGlad your sun is all warm again, we're still waiting......
ReplyDeleteWe agree, by the way, why can't we have warm sunpuddles 24 hours a day!
We totally agree Sylvester! They should never let the sunpuddles go away. Ever.
ReplyDeleteRemember Sylvester...Mum's the word!
ReplyDeleteWe agree that they are selfish with their skills-mol
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
Ah yes, Sylvester....moms and dads...we just can't live without them...but you'd think they would try to do so much better, dontcha??
ReplyDeleteOur mum has got us several days of sun, but she hasn't figured out how to do the warms yet.
ReplyDeletewe sure can fire them. There are MANY Moms and Dads who could take their place...well, then again, maybe not.
ReplyDeleteLove, Cody
Hurray for sunshine! We had some of that last week, MOL.
ReplyDeleteIf you efur figure out how to fix the mom let us know. Ours is broken too!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Sylvester, we don't think you should be complaining. At 18 pounds, we think your mommy is taking pretty darn good care of you! At least you have sun, and we can see all that yummy cat grass in the background. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteWe think it is hard, the weather guessers have been guessing all weekend how much snow. Not much, more, lots more, now not so much.
ReplyDelete18 must be the number to be these days--Hobbes just weighed in at the vet....18.9!! UGH. It is NOT fun trying to carry that moose in the crate.
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine, but snow is expected tomorrow. Spring is coming....slowly. Too slowly for kitties, I think.
Oh luvlies sun, we have a little bit today :) We have just been having rain. xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
If you figure out how to control the sun, please let us know Sylvester!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
