Whisker Trauma!

Kitties!

Salem here, with a funny story and a Terrible Fact.
Humor first!

Mommy hauled the Big Camera out to the Catio last weekend to photograph torment us.  Noting that she didn't have the dratted zoom lens on the instrument of torture, I scuttled to the Upper Reaches of the skyway--where I (wrongly, as it turns out) thought I'd be safe--but nooooooo--that crazypants woman puts the camera in auto and starts LEAPING AND CLICKING.  The nerve!  Thank Cod I was too busy laughing my fur suit off to be bothered by her effrontery.  Or the sight of a wizened gnome attempting to levitate.

This is the best of the batch; I was rather pleased with it.  Sometimes Mommy gets lucky!

Now for the Terrible Fact: 
It appears that one of my whiskers has undergone a Trauma of some sort, it's bent!  Do you see it over on the left?  Mommy forcibly restrained me examined it and it's not frayed or anything, just not straight. 

Mommy was all for dragging out the ironing board to press my whiskers. 
Like that's gonna happen...

    Omigosh have we missed you guys. We're trying to get mom back in the blogging/visiting/commenting habit but she's always on that stupid Facebook thing. It would be different if she gave us a wall of our own, but noooo, she's to 'bizzy' for that...selfish is more like it. Sorry about your whisker Salem, that happens here too.

    It's the bent one that provides the contrast so that the smoothness of the others is more apparent. Plus, it's a point of interest. It has a story to tell. Perhaps you could have a contest--How did Salem's whisker get bent in 50 words or less.

    Nothing worse than bent whiskers ...well unless a pony steps on your tail ...luckily I don't have a long tail ( but I do have a pony)

    I bet it's the humididity... That brief minuscule speck of UN-dereset-like moisture in the air. It went straight to THAT whisker. No big deal.
