May Ling here.
Mommy bought some throw pillows for the sofa. Of course we immediately appropriated them; they now reside on the chair ottomans, covered with cozy fleece blankets, and Mommy makes do with a flimsy under-sized cushion.
The be-pillowed ottoman that is in front of Daddy's chair is My Spot. When he sits down I give him a Look, and if he doesn't respond quickly enough, I meeze at him. Loudly.
He gives me wonderful belly rubbins.
And scritches my scruff until I dribble.
Resistance is futile, Daddy!
Now, let me up on your lap.
