Kitties!
Rupert here.
What a day Daddy had yesterday!
First, he got a fruit seed stuck 'twixt his tooth and gum last weekend. He went to the dentist on Tuesday (the same day a Sly had his teef done, what a co-inky-dink, huh?) and got it taken care of--or so he thought. Turns out he has to go back because it swelled all up again! Poor Daddy.
Then, he got a check in the mail for the car repairs from his rear-ender accident, so he decided to go to the bank and deposit it. And sprang a flat tire, right outside of the bank! Mommy called a tow truck and went to get him. Turns out the tires were so old they were out of warranty and all of them need to be replaced. So much for the insurance settlement.
Finally, while he was waiting for the tire job Mommy strong-armed wheedled nicely asked him to help her do a HUGE shop at Wally World which ended up being a two-trolley odyssey into the hellish underworld of mass retail. However, they did remember to buy Stinky Goodness so it's all good.
Daddy said he's going to follow my example and wash his paws hands of the whole day...
...while I play a little cello music to soothe him.
Happy Friday!

pee ess: The grass Scouty ate stayed DOWN! We are all a little bummed.
Except Mommy, that is.
Poor Daddy. He probably needs some noms and a good ear washing. You might want to wait for an hour or so after the cello concert, though.
ReplyDeleteWow, hunting goods is OK, theyre free, right? But we hope dad got a few toothpicks.
ReplyDeleteGood thing he has all you cats to take care of him! Right? : )

ReplyDeleteWow Rupert, That's a day we would want to cancel, then go back to bed and start all over again with the hope for a better outcome. A trip to W-M would make our mom want to jump off a cliff if all that other stuff had happened beforehand. Give your dad some extra TLC.
