Post-Mosey Monday

Kitties!

After some dithering, we have decided that we like Mommy being home in the mornings.

True, we don't get breakfast until 9 AM but we get dinner at midnight so that's sort of a wash.  And after the usual early-morning crazypants escapades we can all pile back into bed for a nap until the peeps get up.

So after Mommy feeds us (and gets Daddy his cuppa joe) she eats her breakfast sitting on the sofa, and we join her for toast bits, peanut butter, and pettings. She reads for a bit, and then moseys out for a walk or a bike ride, and when she gets home she hangs out on the Catio with us while she drinks a smoothie.

There's always a kitty out there to talk to.

Some a little more up close and purrsonal than others!

Naturally she can't resist our pleading looks, and we end up either getting groomed or played with, or both.
Life is Good.

Happy Monday!

A lovely routine, wethinks. We approve of the breakfasting. And midnight munchies.

  2. Wait, you don't just get your Mom up by whaling on each other at midnight? ... cuz that's how it works at our house.

  10. So happy you're all enjoying the schedule!
Glogirly "thinks" she has us trained to wait until about 9 for our breakfast too. What she doesn't realize is that we've "trained" Gloman to give us a snack at 4!

  11. It sounds like a pretty awesome schedule to me! BTW, we NEVER get fed before 9 - usually it is closer to 10! My human doesn't go to bed until 2 most nights.

  16. That sounds like a good deal--especially the part where Mommeh sits on the Catio and visits everyone. :)

  17. We're glad the new schedule is working out well. :-)

Tell your mom that our human likes your home's happy colours very much. Ours a bit restricted in colour choices by the area rug her dad bought for the living area in September. But it's true she does need a more neutral, soothing colour scheme--something outwardly calm, since her inner Self always seems so stressed and agitated . LOL.

  19. That sounds like a great schedule for getting in some extra time with your mom. Was adjusting to getting your breakfast all the way at 9:00 hard? We would have been protesting that we were going to faint by then.

  26. That sounds like a much better routine. My mum is not a morning person. She rarely goes to bed before 1.30am and would stay in bed until 9am by choice, but she usually has me and the horses waiting for her before that. She usually manages to hang it out until 8am though.
