Tongue Lashing

Oh hello, Kitties!
Salem here, and from this picture you can see that Mommy is:  a) an indifferent housekeeper (those are litterbox crumbs on the tile--I think hope); and b) a genius at leveling out this end table.  And also an expert at Bathus Interruptus.  And also also bad at framing a photo.

Well.  That's better.
On so many levels...

Happy Monday!

Mommy: heh heh heh...let's see if Miss Crustybutt notices how I signed her post!
What a critic.

  1. Poor Whalem, I mean, Salem! Can't take a bath in peace!
By the way, never look too closely at the floors in my pictures, you'll be frightened! If it werent for being able to crop pictures, I'd have nothing to post, ever!

  2. Salem! Please--You MUST punish her for these disrespectful signatures!!

Also, doesn't your Mommy know about vacuuming wif Photoshop? If we didn't do that, we'd never post at all!

  3. 'Big girls, you are beautiful'

I know when it is wise not to make enemies! I bet that tongue could really lash.

  4. Mommehs are the worst when it comes to interrupting a kitty's turn to baff. Why is that????

  5. Uh-oh, I think Salem will have punishment to dole out!

  6. Our boys have no complaints about pretty Miss Salem.

  7. Salem, the second picture made you look stretched sideways! Have you? Purrs!

  8. Well, Whalem, sometimes a mom's gotta do what a mom's got to do, the best way she knows how... Or at the very least, the best way she feels like. 'Good enough' is quite often the Gold Standard around here... certainly for the small stuff.

Have a purrfectly balanced day, however you can!

  9. You look pawsitively shocked in that first pic, Salem. Heh-heh.

    Have a great Monday!

  15. Salem you need to think of a way to get back at your Mummy for this post. :) Have a great day kitties.

  16. That is such a perfect word for housekeeping, Indifferent. Our Person is just the same but our house looks much worse than yours. We really spread the litter all over the place. Have a great day.

  17. People roll their eyes at me when I tell them that I vacuum every day. Yep. Every. Single. day. BUT...we have a small house...and TWO litter boxes and that litter goes everywhere.

Now, if you kitties could just keep it in the box....

  18. Salem your furs look wonderful after your bath although you don't look very happy to have been caught by the camera.

  19. Salem, such beautiful white whiskers! And the look on your face is precious; squee!

  20. We have three cats and the head peep has to photoshop out stray cat litter crumbles in the least appropriate locations. We can't imagine what it would be like to try to contain litter for so many!

  21. Never any privacy! Mommy did a nice job framing you in the last pic.

  22. Our humans are always interrupting our baths, too. But you try to go in the shower a couple of times with one of them and they act like it's a crime. Sheeeesh!

  23. You look really beautiful in that pic. But still, Mom should respect your bath time.

  24. Whalem...it is good to see (as we expected) who really is in charge at your abode!

  26. Oooh, Whalem, our mom wants to huff your plush tuxie neck! And never mind about the litter crumbs - they are everywhere in our house.

  31. a well cropped photo can make a world of difference can't it :)

Thank you for the giggle this afternoon

  32. Miss Salem Whalem, I suspect that the Mommy is getting a wee bit out of hand judging by her post yesterday, as well as her flagrant disregard of kitty bathing protocol!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Seems to us that your mom probably has more impawtant things to do than cleaning up a little litter or repairing a short table leg. After all, she has 13 of you to look after, and we don't see any of you lifting a paw to help out. Not that we wouldn't criticize our mom in just the same manner. MOL! Have a great week. 34. Salem, good help is so hard to find these days. You may need to stick with your mom...she's better than nothing. :)

  36. Well, a & b and the rest of your comment describes our Mom too ;) heehee
Your Mom did better with the 2nd shot.

  37. Now you know why we don't have photos of our floors! And Salem, we think your mom deserves some retaliation for calling you that name!

  39. Oh, Salem boy!
I know I should be mortified at the obvious lack of courtesy your Mum displays towards your need for privacy. But.....I adore that 2nd photo! You are too cute!

  43. Can you believe it, Mumsy has a table leveled just like that one. What ever is going on with these moms anyway. And they always take our pictures when we are doing private things, we need to give them more than a tongue lashing they need to be set straight. Your tongue lashing worked, can you come over and help us with Mumsy sweet Salem? Hugs and nose kisses

  44. Whoa Salem, you’ve been dissed. Bigtime! Hope you’re not gonna stand for it.
