Thank Cod it's Monday!

Rupert here.
I know a lot of you kitties (and your peeps) are all excited about today being Friday, but at our house Friday is really Monday, cos Mommy goes back to work.  She only works four days a week, and is off on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  She says the best part of her schedule is going to work on Monday (which is her Friday) and wishing all the grumpy back-to-workers a Happy Weekend!* 

The most important thing about Fronday (Friday + Monday) is that now we can all get some rest...when Mommy's home there's always something going on (she is a flibbertigibbet busybody who never sits down for Cod's sake) and all the snoopervising wears us out. 
So please excuse me, I need a nap.
zzzzZZZZzzzzzzzzz...

    My goodness we are all discombobulated about Monday, Friday, weekdays, which days, whatever you guys have. We ourselves have lost track of days and time now in the long summer holiday but Äiti's work starts all too soon and then we will know which day is when. Maybe. But whatever twenty four hour period it is, have a good one and make sure you get enough foods and peace!

    Our poor Mommy would be furever messed up! If there is a 3-day weekend, it takes her 2 weeks to get her days straight again. MOL!

    This post reminded the Human of one of her favorite students from a few years back who invented the word Fraturday during her senior year to describe the time when the last bell rang for dismissal on Friday afternoon. She had all her classmates greeting that bell with a rousing cry of "It's Fraturday!!"

    I think I would get confused with that schedule. Friday/Monday?

    I am like the Mom because I work part-time and I usually make a BIG announcement when it is 2:00 and I can go home. Or when I take my usual Fridays off. It makes everyone around me mad--little do they know how my salary is compromised because I won't go full time. Whatever.

    Oh Good, we thought maybe the Mom had lost a few marbles thinking today was Monday. She just has a different schedule. Sounds like a good schedule to us. You all take care and have a great day. Tell Mom that the dog loves the treats. So far none of the cats.

    We love that word, Fronday! We know lots of hospitality workers, and they all say it's "My Friday" or it's "My Monday." You have much better words for it!
