Whisker Jewelry

Kitties!

The Baby here.

I'm sporting the very latest trend in feline fashion today:
Pine needles!
In fact, this trend is SO new I only *just* invented it on my morning walk outside.

I cleverly attached the needles to one of my whiskers using some spider silk.

My accoutrement was quite durable and lasted for almost ten minutes in which time Mommy desperately tried to get some decent photos before it fell off.  What do you think, kitties--could this be the next new "thing"--and what else might work?

Happy Monday!

  1. I don't know The Baby, the goats have been sporting pine needles in their furs for years.

  2. the materials for such fashion can be difficult to come by in some areas. so as fancy looking as it is, we're afraid we're stuck to the classic spider webs :)

  3. We have loads of pine needles here so they get into our furs a lot, but whisker danglers are a new one. We Perhaps we better not indulge as it will probably upset Seppo - no whiskers to hang them from for him!

  4. Hmmm, we have no pine needles. We shall use dead bermuda grass instead. When the pawparazzi asks who we're wearing, we'll say "Bibbles"!

  5. ha, cute but pine resin is no crazy glue. Odin comes in from the garden using sporting something botanical or at least a dirty nose.

  23. Way to go, TB!! I always like to arrange some foliage about my furry person when I venture outside. It gives the Staff person some much needed exercise chasing me around the house just in case it's a centipede or something!!

  24. It's very stylish, but could be hard to find for only indoor kitties ! Purrs

  36. "Be-baubled Bibbles" must be used for the title of a book or something else as significant, a line of whisker jewelry purrhaps. It is just too terrific to die with this post. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
