Kitties!
Guess who we're watching?
The Baby caught a birdy on her Morning Stroll, and since for her it's all about the catch and kill, she brought it in for us to "inspect".
CC called dibs.
If your humans would rather not see photos of him going crazypants with his prey we understand--but you bloodthirsty kittehs will probably really enjoy the following shots:
Anybody lurking? |
This birdy is MINE! |
wheeeeeeeee!!!!! |
Where'd it go? |
AHA! |
Double wheeeeeeee!!!!!! |
Thanks Bibby! You rock. |
Happy Monday...and we hope your peeps weren't too grossed out!

Drool..........
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this is a good fix. It's snowy and dark and no birdies are within a zillion miles of us.
Drool...........
Oh man...Zippy won't go outside since it dropped below 60 degrees so no fun for us indoor kitties! We got some vicarious thrills from those action shots.
ReplyDeleteYou had us at "Carnage".
ReplyDeleteMOL!
Oooooooo the mom never let's us near them birds. Thanks guys.
ReplyDeleteWe guessed BABY fer the initial catch!!! YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!
ReplyDeleteHow nice of The Baby to share her kill!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Baby!
ReplyDeletePoor birdy. I get upset when they catch birdies. Now gophers and mousies they can chomp to their heart's content.
ReplyDeleteWe bet you all wanted that bird!
ReplyDeletePurrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
That was thoughtful of The Baby to give you the bird. Looks like you had lots of fun playing with it. The sparrows sit in the rosebush outside the window and I like to stalk and catch them.
ReplyDeleteBwahaha! Mum just reread the first sentence.
Very thoughtful of the Baby to share her catch with all of you! As indoor cats, we have never caught a bird, but we just know we could if given a chance.
ReplyDeleteWe're all hopping mad with jealousy here.

xx
Did you get to eat it? IF Hobbes finds a dead and/or dying birdie, he leaves it. Not hungry, apparently. As for the gross---you got nuthin' on the hawk that visits our feeder. He leaves quite a disgusting mess after his birdie adventures. blech.
ReplyDeleteEeeek! Poor bird!
ReplyDeleteOh well - thus is nature.
Have a happy week kitties!

Drool, slobber,drool.
ReplyDeleteThe REAL Maple Syrup Mob xxxxx
Wow, how lucky can you get! We need The Baby to come and catch something for us!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots! Angel and Chuck would NOT know what to do with a bird, but they both think they'd do something to those pesky squirrels!
ReplyDeleteOMC......we're sooooo jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
I'm a wimpy peacenik and feel sorry for mr. bird.
ReplyDeleteMum wondered if The Baby would like to come over and take care of a few crows for her. CAW, CAW, CAW - so untuneful!

The great huntress Baby is such a sweet girl to share her kill with the rest of you kitties....or at least CC, MOL
ReplyDeleteThat is some skill with the toss CC too!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Pee Ess: Mom bean was a little grossed out but wants to know what happened to the bird when you was done with it?
Much as I hate it when they kill things (well, apart from rats. They can kill rats anytime! And I don't complain about mice either), they are the most amazing hunters and it's fascinating to watch them toy with their prey. And share it!
ReplyDeleteThat's got to be worth SOME kind of Cat Scouts badge!
ReplyDeleteOur fav photo is the one where CC has his front legs wrapped around the tower post. Ho, ho,ho, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThose are some great shots of CC :)
