Kitties!
Nurse Rupert here.
As you can see, I took good care of my* Mommy when she was feeling queasy. She says "thank-you" for all your purrs...she has pesky adhees, addledhesuns, um, sticky bits in her innards that occasionally seize up and make her colon put on crankypants. It doesn't happen often, thank Cod, but when it does I'm right there to stick my Soothing Bum in Mommy's face to help her feel better.
Well, to be purrfectly honest, I stick my Bum in her face all the time, but when Mommy is feeling poorly I make sure my hindquarters ooze some Extra-Soothing mojo. (You kitties know what I mean.)
So, as long as I wasn't being flung to the floor during a frantic human litterbox room run I stuck to my post--successfully--by Caturday Mommy was well enough to go back to work.
Where she saw this one gorgeous cloud!
We had four days of gloom and 0.2" of rain last week, so it was so nice to see the last of them, floating away.
Happy Sunday!
XX Rupert (and his Soothing Bum) XX
*MINE. All mine.
Soothin bum, MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe must say you make an A+ nurse Rupert. The Soothing Bum Cure is one of the best we feel although in our house only Tanaka does it ... all the time on the mom. That cloud is a miracle. It's a swan but the mom thinks it's a dragon. Hrumpfffff..
ReplyDeleteNothin says lovin like a bum in your face. Hope your feeling better.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Pee Ess - Great pic!
I know all about healing purrs, but I never thought of healing... um, whatever you call it.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure the adhesions are blasted away by bum-mojo. We love the idea and you better patent it before someone steals the idea and makes money from it! Pekka is very good at it, only once.... well, we are sure you remember what happened, hehehehe.
ReplyDeleteNow we hope your Mommy is better and running around the countryside, not just carving a path to the human litterbox.
So glad yer butt grease helped yer mums bum.
ReplyDeleteXoxo
Ms Stella O Houligan
We're glad you're mom is feeling better, certainly must have been your therapeutic soothing bum! :-)
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder, Rupert, whether the humans REALLY appreciate our bumeotherapee as much as they should, but we do our best!! The Staff is making sympathetic noises here 8-/ and we both hope she is better soon xox
ReplyDeleteSounds like it's a magic bum. lol
ReplyDeleteHope your mom feels better soon.

Glad you are careful where you point your bum.
ReplyDeleteGlad you helped your mommy feel better Rupert! Our Grandma from Vegas is looking forward to seeing those blue skies again today since it's been gloomy in OR pretty much every day she's been here.
ReplyDeleteRupert, what a good nurse you are! Kitty bum always helps and yours must be extra soothing :-)
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the cloud is beautiful! Such amazing big blue sky!
Happy Sunday!
Rupert what great nurse you are. Hope you Mom feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteyou are so very kind Rupert
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good nurse Rupert. My mum gets my bum in her face every night when I sleep on top of her. She said she is glad your mum is feeling better because she has the dreaded adhesions too from when she had her cancer op. She says she knows how painful and miserable it makes her feel. I think hers have the opposite effect when they play up though because everything stops moving.
ReplyDeleteOH NO RUPERT YOU TELL YOU MOM ..WHEN MY HUMAN SISSY WAS ABOUT 7 AND MOM WAS SICK, SISSY TOLD MOM, "MOM'S ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SICK, THOSE ARE THE RULES."!
ReplyDeletehEALING HUGS MADI AND MOM

ReplyDeleteGlad Mommy is feeling better! That cloud is amazing.

We're SO sorry your mom was feeling icky, Rupert! You know... the butt-in-the-face is recommended by 4 out of 5 dentists... er, doctors!
ReplyDeleteGlad she's feeling better. We know it's all you.

We're glad your mom is feeling better. She had a great nurse taking care of her. You should bottle that mojo, Rupert, and sell it. :)
ReplyDeleteWow Rupert, that's not a skill that just any old nurse can do - glad Mommy is feeling better and that you are doing your best to help her get better quicker. I think it is working.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet kitty you are taking care of mom. Sorry she wasn't feeling well.
ReplyDeleteGood job Rupert! Everything's better with butt!
ReplyDeletejust scrolled down and caught up. My computer, website and self are still under the weather but happy you're on the mend and Dr.Rupert has discharged his patient?
ReplyDeleteWe got really worried when we read about your bum oozing. Very happy Mom Trish is feeling better. Nothing like a bum in the face to get a human up and around again. Sending purrs. Ho, ho, ho, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteRupert so glad that you and your "magic" bum made your Mom all better :) Lovely cloud your Mom captured!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good bum-sniff to make the Mom-cat feel better!
