Javelinas!

Friends and Kitties!

Sheebie here.

I wanted to include this video with yesterday's post, but for some reason YouTube was being balky.  In all the years I've been visiting my parents I've seen many kinds of wildlife, but never a javelina--only captive at the Desert Museum.  So it was a real treat to see a group in the wash, and get it on camera!

My Dad says that the boars are a lot bigger, so this herd is just sows and babies.

Enjoy!

Happy Sunday!

  4. Wow, that is just crazy! My human is a big city girl and having a few deer and coyotes and hawks to deal with (oh, and her beloved lizards) is about as much as she can take. I think she would freak out if she found those wandering around her neighborhood.
