Log Ladies

Kitties!

Salem here.
Mommy garbage picked, found on the side of the road, specially selected a log for us to investigate.
She had some high falutin' hopes that we would feel...um...enriched playing on it.

Nope.

Sweet Pea:  Ho, hum.

I decided to give the log a sniff and Mommy got all excited, thinking that the fun was starting.
Again, nope.

The only reason there's a photo of me on the log is because I was PLACED on it--Daddy is on my Hiss List--and then I refused to look at Mommy.
Because.

Stay tuned...the non-excitement continues tomorrow!

Happy Friday!

  1. Oh we are laughing away at this non-event. Oh yes indeedy. Apparently your Mommy saw the enriched environment here and thought some logs would be 'very fun' for you lot. No chance! Hahahahaha.
    You need a forest.

  2. Logs make good scratchers if they are stabilized :)

Maybe a little nip would increase the interest...

  5. It's a great log and maybe you will get use to it. :)

  6. No takers on that log? Not even to scratch on it? Hmm, we wonder if our biped ought to bring us a log. Maybe a real tree would be better.

Tell your mom thanks for stopping by, we hope all is well with your gang!

    Purrs and peace.

  7. What! Of course. You guys have a Sky Lounge! You are obviously Metro cats! Metro cats don't like natural furniture - you are into modern.... And you only eat fresh, (sometimes moving) catganic food.

  8. Hey, even if you weren't excited over it, doesn't mean you weren't enriched. Seeing, smelling, and investigating something new shoots off new neurons.. so the mom totally wins.

  13. Trees are the very best scratching posts, so that log has to be the next best thing. Go on, give it a try.

  14. That log actually looks quite exciting! But I guess it's exciting only for humans :-)

  15. There are a few logs leftover from the trees TBT had removed a few weeks ago. We go outside where they are, but we dont give them anny attention...
