Friends and Kitties!
Sheebie here.
So, today I had a flat tire, was almost late for work, Felix is still sick, Sweet Pea and CC are sneezing like crazy. Salem has the trots (pee-yoo!) and somebody sprayed the back of the sofa. Not only did I have zero time for photos I don't have the gumption for a "real" post, for which I am sorry because creating a happy post always cheers me up.
HOWEVER.
I had a great yoga class before the flat tire. I finally got up into a forearm stand!
I was almost late to work.
Felix is improving, and the vet gave us a HUGE bottle of medicine, enough for the entire Ailing Horde, for only $16.
Maybe Salem will lose an ounce along with her appetite.
The sofa atrocity--well, no silver lining there, I'm afraid. At least it's vinyl!
And I guess this post perked me up after all; counting your blessings usually does.
Maybe I'll drag out the real camera tomorrow for some fun and make it up to all of you--deal?
Happy Tuesday!

Definitely Not Very Fun.

Lets hope things will improve soon.
ReplyDeleteWe're purring for you all and hope everyone feels better soon and that you have a better day tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteAh dang. Someone having a worse day than me. You went and spoiled my pitty party. I guess I need to look at the positive things that happened. Thanks. And, today will be better. right?
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you have some good to balance out the bad stuff. Pawhugs. And yeaaaa on the new yoga move.
ReplyDeletehalf empty, half full, at least the glass has liquid in it.
ReplyDeleteit is amazing what can happen when you shift your focus.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Somedays all we get accomplished is picking up puke, hairball spots, hair, trailing poop (ones that get stuck and come off in the kitchen, dining room, etc. where they don't need to be), feeding the elder cat stinky food and keeping him segregated, and try to keep the peace between 9 furblings. Other than that, the bulldog, Buck, had impacted anal glands which stunk to high heavens, no matter how many baths he gets, so he went to the vet twice/three times and finally is on the uphill climb. *UGH* But, I love them all and wouldn't trade them for NUTHIN'!!! Trish, I hope your days improve, everyone gets better, and the mystery pee'er gets under control (do they ever? I have one too). To better days ahead!!!

Sounds like a pretty rough time you'all have been going through!! The Staff has been totally lacking in blogging and visiting, so I had to threaten her with withdrawal of scritching privileges, so here we are!!!! :) xx
ReplyDeleteAt least it was only the sofa that got sprayed. One time my big black cat called Kipper (gone to the happy hunting grounds now.) was so jealous of a visiting baby that he jumped up onto my desk, turned around and sprayed all over me. Never the less, I loved that cat so much.
ReplyDeleteRemember my motto, nothing lasts for ever.

Hang in there! This is a good reminder for our mom to tabulate the good in with the bad, too, so thanks for that!
ReplyDeletePurrs for a better tomorrow
ReplyDeleteHang in there! Hoping all is better (and ARE better) soon! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you were able to find a sliver lining in all of that. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your positive spin on things and congrats on the yoga pose!
ReplyDeleteHope today went better and that the kitties get well soon!
ReplyDeleteTBT here: When I was carpooling, a flat tire would have meant we were late by EXACTLY how many minutes it took to change the tire, LOL! Hope the kitties are feeling better though...
ReplyDeleteWell your Tuesday definitely wasn't a great one. We often have days like that around here, like when Mauricio sprays something right in front of me or he has one of his projectile horking incidents. Luckily flat tires don't come everyday. Hope things get better as the week progresses. XOCK Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteSending strong healing purrs to all of you - our paws are crossed that things will improve very soon!
