Tube-Shootin' Tuesday

Kitties!

A long time ago Daddy made us a tube, and we play with it a LOT. Like everyday! (It's also good for sleeping in.) He bought a four-foot length of sonotube--for forming concrete--at a home improvement store, cut holes in it ("Swat Ports"), mounted it on two supports, and painted it. It's got some carpeting on the bottom half for grip, and at one point (the beginning, that is) there were fabric fringies on each end. It's really sturdy and has stood up to all of our love for years.

Our mostest favoritest game is called "Shoot Through the Tube and Scare the Pantaloons Off Your Furbling". This involves a whole lot of stalking and bum-wiggling, and sometimes counter-stalking and suprises happen! This game is good anytime, but night is best because then we can come shooting in through the Cat flap in the bedroom and jump on the bed with Mommy. She gets pretty excited when we leap on her bladder at 2 AM.

When the twins were little CC felt safe in the tube and that's the first place Mommy could regularly pet him. Scouty, of course, resisted...and still does...

So that's one of the things we play with on the Catio. Daddy's built us a lot of things over the years, we'll show you some more later. Remember, life is short so don't forget to play play play!
