The New Latrine!

Kitties!

Can you guess what this is?
It's our new, HUGE latrine!

Daddy went to the home improvement store and WE got a prize!  
See how big it is compared to the old one?
It took THREE 42-pound bags of kitty litter, PLUS the contents (minus the poop) of the old box to fill it up.

It's like our own private beach.

Of course, we checked it out right away.
Salem thought it was great, but she didn't have to go.

Sweet Pea gave it an inspection and a rain check as well.

Scouty was Suspicious.
Maybe later, Daddy!

Look at the fun pattern in the sand!  Daddy did that with the garden rake.
May Ling wondered who padded through the box...and didn't use it.
She didn't, either.

The Baby stalked by the new, pristine latrine while Rupert watched.

His patience paid off; he spotted the First Customer!
Finally.
Oh, for Cod's sake.
I'm outta here.

    Your Daddy made you a Zen Poop Garden. Now all you need is a little water fountain nearby. We are jealous, and you are giving Äiti ideas. She thinks we should have an outside facility with a snow cover, that we use for as long as we are going outside. We are not sure.

    Concats on the new litter box. We gotta say that we knew IMEDIATETATELY that it was a new wading pool litter box. With fishies on the bottom, what else could it be?

    We are thinking that there ought ta be a specialized tool fer cleanin it. We saw a tool fer shoveling hot coals once. It was like a snowshovel, but with lots of holes in it. That seems worth finding. But yer Dad could drill holes in one.

    You guys got a huge new latrine! I got a new small one, cuz I'm tiny, and I haven't quite adjusted yet. Mom says I can't have a pooping pool on account of there's nowhere for it.

    When I change the litter, Ling is ALWAYS waiting next to me. As soon as I am done, but before I can even move, she's in there, making a deposit. :)
