Kitties!
The Baby here...way up high!
I was out the other morning with Daddy for a little mosey around the yard, and I saw the ladder! I love to climb ladders, I went up in a trice.
Naturally, Daddy didn't have his camera with him. After he went inside and got it, I re-enacted my daredevil ascent:
Hop up to the second rung...examine wind chime.
Fourth rung, Strike a Pose!
Stop, take a look around...
...and consider the final leap.
Daddy, I'd really like to get up on the roof.
Somehow.
Remember the time I got onto the Catio roof? That was loads of fun!
I don't know why I only got to do that just one time.
My perilous descent!
Why is Down always harder than Up?
Ahhhh, terra firma.
Happy Friday!
XX The Baby XX
Aaaah, such form. Such grace.
ReplyDeleteBaby baby,
ReplyDeleteI usually just jump down, no need to use the ladder. That's why I'm trimmer than Nikki, I guess. har har har *evil laughs*
Tell you Daddy he got gweat pictuwes of you adventuwes!
ReplyDeleteGreat ladder technique. Even the ladder's color is good with your fur.
ReplyDeleteWow! you are good on ladders! What did you see way up there?
ReplyDeleteBaby, you are one brave kitteh! I'm not keen on heights. I like my lil grey feet on the ground. Purrs, my daredevil furriend.
ReplyDeleteladders are such fun!! thanks for re-enacting your adventure for the camera - so nice of you!!
ReplyDeleteThe Baby! You have such grand adventures! You must be the envy or all your brofurs and sisfurs. I'm so glad to see your Daddeh did not put that thing on you that makes you lose your bones--I don't think you coulda done all that cool ladder stuff without them!
ReplyDeleteYou are a fine figure of a ladycat--so graceful and agile. Nosetaps XOXO

ReplyDeleteBaby, you are such an adventurous daredevil - ladder climbing looks hard. I've never got to try it myself.
ReplyDeleteHope all you guy at the Katnip Lounge have a great weekend.
Purrs,
Genghis
That looks great fun. We have lots of ladders in our garden. The cat that lived here before me used to go up them when Daddy went up to sort the gutters out :)xx
ReplyDeletethat looks a little scary! Be careful up there!
ReplyDeleteoooh The Baby! Such daring do! Such moxie!Such bravery! I wish I could do that! Meanmommy won"t let me out!!
ReplyDeleteThe Baby, you're very adventurous! We love your pose. And hey, Nicki can't understand why you aren't allowed to get up on the catio roof, either. That's the kind of thing he'd love to do! :-D
ReplyDeleteYou look like you are ready to join the circus Baby! But please don't. Stay here where we can keep our eye on you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
xo Catherine
Baby, that was one great climb. We love to get on our roof and Mom can't stop us cause there is bush/tree that gets us right up there and coming down is so much harder but you do such a good job Baby. Hope all of you have one terrific day.
ReplyDeletei think you should go down to your fire station and sign up to be a volunteer fire cat.
ReplyDeleteWow, the Baby, I just hope my little girl takes a leaf out of your book! you're amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused as to why you wouldn't be allowed on the roof? Mom says that her kitties do it all the time. In fact Angel kitty Gem used to climb up and then meow overtop of Mom's window, wait for Mom to come out and then climb down. Silly girl.
ReplyDeleteGood job Baby - you are a natural. But we think we have to agree about staying off the roof. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are good Baby - you didn't just hop up on the roof like we do - mum often finds us gazing down at her and she says come on down - as if!!
ReplyDeleteWell we do come down when we're hungry haha.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
What fun, Baby!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday and love to you and yours.
Don't get a nosebleed all the way up there!
ReplyDeleteWell done Baby...I bet Johnny can't find you up there!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
Very impressive, and you have the BEST name!
ReplyDeleteDarn, you almost made it up to the roof again!!!
ReplyDeleteSome kittehs sure do love to get up high. I had a three legged cat who was always on the roof. And the way she got up there always amazed me. She didn't seem to miss that fourth leg, MOL.
ReplyDeleteYou are quite the adventurer Baby! First the roof, and then the stars...
ReplyDeleteWell you know what they say - what goes up must come down!
ReplyDelete*clap clap clap* Did you try to swat at the windchime?
ReplyDeleteCosmo and Ling are scared of the ladder! They aren't very brave.....
"10!" Nice that you stuck the landing!

Perhaps we should take a look at Mommy's ladder we mights be able to get on top of the Hummingbird Cottage with it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun, Baby. I think the kitties here would be too scared to go on a ladder!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Bravo! That sure was nice of you to re-enact the whole thing for your dad! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave one Baby! We don't know if we would climb on one of those or not.
ReplyDeleteRegarding a farm for Sammy, Meowm doesn't know of any nearby, and she wouldn't feel comfortable giving Sammy to just anyone. Time will tell what will happen. She may try to get him into siamese rescue.
Wow! I haves nevers been on a ladder before! They looks very interesting! You climb good! Next time you swat that wind chime!!
ReplyDeleteHow brave you are, The Baby! I'm glad that you repeated your actions for Daddy once he got the camera -- or else we would have really missed something!
ReplyDeleteYes, I can just see your little brain working, trying to figure out how to get on that roof.
I'm glad you couldn't do it, though, because then you might escape and we'd never see you again.
Earth to The Baby: Stay grounded!
How cute... Such a daredevil... :)
ReplyDeleteThe Baby, that was a very daring stunt you done!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly, The Baby, that was exciting! You are very brave.
ReplyDeleteHow fun, The Baby! I like climbing ladders too. say, you need to ask you daddy to set that up for you permanent-like in the catio!
ReplyDelete~Pip
CatDaddy Junior agreed, why is down always harder than up? We sure do like those poses. We like climbing too! Maybe we could get CatDaddy to set his ladder up so we could try it out. Yeeaaaahhh, that'd be a great idea! Thanks, Baby!
ReplyDeleteYou guys all have a good weekend!
What, what a great adventure that was!!! I should try and do the ladder thing next time I see it. Of course, not sure if could be as graceful, because I've never done it before. But purrhaps I could follow your example.
ReplyDeletePurrs!
Romeo
That was pretty cool to watch, The Baby. I love a good ladder to climb.
ReplyDeleteWally
