"So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance."

Life -- still flowering, no matter the adversity. Saguaro, bearing witness to life turned, returned, to dust in an instant. To the memories that still stand tall. Bittersweet.

Beautiful post. Our thoughts are with you today.
ReplyDeleteSometimes photos say it so much better than words. These are stunning. Thought and purrs to the families, the loved ones, the First Responders, to those we didn't know. 2001 impacted us all some way, somehow.
ReplyDeleteWe remember...forever...
ReplyDeleteI like this furry much and so does my mommy.

Very nice. Mom loves the desert pics. And the Saguaro cactus is her favorite. She didn't tour the Hoover Dam, but she did get to see it when she went to Lost Wages (Las Vegas) back in 2008. She took a day tour to the Grand Canyon and loved the scenery on the way.
ReplyDeleteAnd we will never forget either.
Great quote!
