Gone Fishin'

Kitties!

A few weeks ago we read that Punapippuri, King of Finland (North) and his feline family were on their last Magical Flying Fishie Toy, and they didn't know where (or if) they could get any more, which would be a tragedy.  So we assigned our Mommy (who has a knack for this sort of thing) to scour the innernets and find some...and she did!  We forwarded the link to Punapippuri, and his Äiti (Finnish for Mom) bought every single one they had in stock--apparently Mommy located the last supply in the entire world.

So--yesterday afternoon we were minding our own Catly business when the Doorbell of Doom rang, and the Man in Bloo Shorts delivered a parcel addressed to US.  It was from Punapippuri!  His Äiti mailed us three Magical Flying Fishies, and wonderful photos of himself, Mirksu, and Pekka Poika.  (Mirksu, May Ling hung your photo next to her hammock--she has a big crush on you, heh heh.)

We supervised the Opening of the Parcel.

There was much anticipation...

The verdict:  Magical Flying Fishie Toy is a HIT!!!
We all had a turn.

Sylvester especially loved it.  
His front paws are deformed from being declawed and he gets frustrated trying to play with some toys...

...but not this one!

He played like a kitten--albeit an eighteen pound one.

Flying Fishie tantalized him for nearly fifteen minutes, which is a record for him.

Sylvester says that Fishie has a nicely nommable texture.

And the string ain't half bad either!
He did a lot of flossing.

Thank you, King Punapippuri and Äiti for the wonderful gift! I love it, as do my brofurs and sisfurs.
You are the GREATEST!

    That was so nice of the Punapippuri kitties to share their stash of Magical Fishies with you! They are such a hit, I can't figure out why the company decided to stop making them. Dumb humans!

    We are very grateful to your Mom for finding us the fishies so we thought you deserved some. And you have sent us loads of good stuff in the past too :) They are very good toys as even Harris and Lewis play with them so we were delighted to see Sylvester and his wonky paws having a good time. Beware though that the string can be bitten through and the fishies hidden: Jura has a secret pile of them....somewhere!

    SCORE! Sylvester, we's so glad you hadded fun wif it! We knows it probably happened a long time ago, and it probably doesn't bother you anymore, but the Human gets sort of enraged when she thinks about kitties being declawed. Grrrrr.     That was so thoughtful of Punapippuri and his Aitie to send you those fishies. We have a flying fishie too that one of the horses gave us for Christmas a few years ago. Even Eric likes to play with it, and he doesn't play with many toys. We will have to ask mum to find it in our toy box. We are glad to see Sylvester having so much fun with it.

    I am so happy for Sylvester! Such a good mom he has. I hope someone, somewhere, is planning to make millions more of those fishies. Looks like a lot of us would like to get our paws on some.
