Kitties!
Scouty here, gently digesting Mothzilla.
Many of you expressed an interest as to the texture, taste, and stay-down-ability of Mothzilla; i.e. the White-Lined Sphinx Moth.
Well, I'm here to enlighten you...
TEXTURE: Due to his large abdomen (filled with juicy guts) he wasn't dry at all--the wings lent a delicate, yet satisfying crunch, along with the spiky-textured wiggly legs, antennae, and proboscis. Altogether a most satisfying mouth feel.
TASTE: Mothy. Not at all like chik-kun.
STAY-DOWN-ABILITY?: Yes. So far.
All in all, quite the delicious morsel, and the Condiment of Theft added savor to the flavor! I highly recommend these moths--if you see one, don't hesitate--eat it. You won't be sorry.
Happy Friday!
