Kitties!
Mommy and Daddy were in the garage, doing whatever it is they do out there, and look who showed up:
The oh-so-edible progeny of Mr. Brown and Mrs. Blue!
She (Mommy thinks it was a she) was pecking around, gobbling up some spilled bird seed.
Pay no attention to Daddy's container labeling. As you know, he's crazypants.
Miss Pidgy was very determined to devour every spare seed!
She was pretty tame too; if Mommy hadn't been all gimpy and stuff she could have picked her up easily.
Instead she shooed Miss Pidgy along with her cane.
All the meals pigeons that frequent the feeding station are banded, so we think they have a home to go to...we'd complain about freeloaders, but we live in hope of picking up a free meal ourselves--if you know what we mean...
::wink wink::
Happy Monday!

That birdie would have followed a trail of seed right into the house!
ReplyDeleteShe's pretty. (pretty yummy lookin...) Heh-heh.
ReplyDelete::twitch:: oh....how...tasty....
ReplyDeleteSigh....
She's very pretty
ReplyDeleteOh Jeez-Louise, we pawed at the screen like the birdie was really HERE! Thats embarrassing... We KNOW better than that. Or should.
ReplyDeletethe question is kitties.....why weren't any of you in the garage when the tasty treat showed up?
ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Looks like Bad Whitey got distracted with the trail and sent it to the wrong room!

Nice Miss Pidgy and all. But we can't stop wondering about BUG JUICE? Your Daddy makes juice from bugs? WHOA!
ReplyDeleteDo the humans who own these pigeons KNOW that they are pecking distance away from 13 FIERCE hunters?
ReplyDeleteProbably not - and let's keep it that way!
Not so much lunch as a veritable banquet!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! THat bird is tame. He also believes in help yourself ;) heehee
ReplyDeleteToo bad he did not visit with you kitties ;)

Bet you kitties would have loved to say hello to your visitor. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww Miss Pidgy came to inspect the Bug Juice! LOL!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Maybe if Miss Pidgy comes back for seconds you can send a message to whomever she flitters off to. You know, Pidgy Pen Pals!
ReplyDeleteShame on mommy! She shooed Miss Pidgey in the wrong direction.
ReplyDeleteMiss Pidgy wanted to come in for a visit or maybe a bite and your mom shooed her away? What was she thinking?
ReplyDeleteFree meals - nod, nod, wink, wink!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
darned mom keepin you from a free meal :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bird. . we have to say thanks to your mom for making sure she was safe.
ReplyDeleteOMC, I have been gone too long!! Mommy has a cane! I will back track to find out whts goin on. And I'm thinkin' those pidgies are lookin might plump...wink, wink
ReplyDeleteI could see my flock just oogling at her as a new treat.
ReplyDeleteTell your mom that we all hope she feels better soon!
Why didn't mommy shoo the pigeon toward the catio so kitties could slobber over the tempting pidgy out there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely visitor...but not a very wise one being so tame at this location!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Hugs & Purrs,
Kitty
Wow that is a very pretty pigeon! And looks ready to go on your plate, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in what is in that container!
I'm sure they taste like chicken...
ReplyDeleteThose pigeons are mocking you kitties!! They know you cannot get out!! Same on them. MOL MOL
ReplyDeleteMadi your BFFF
That looked like a gourmet pigeon. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have never, ever seen a brown and white pigeon before. All ours are grayish. Most those birdies are pretty darn slow. If you could convince Mom to leave a trail of food to the catio and open the door briefly, that little meal would probably hop right inside. Good luck at capturing an extra meal.
ReplyDeleteNo birdie for yous quite yet? Bummer!
ReplyDeletethat is one pretty birdie!! I looked at the heading super quickly and am glad it wasn't what I originally thought it was ROFLMAO
ReplyDeleteA nice snack that would be.
ReplyDeletemol! yeah, a meal like that is a dream of ours too. The pigeons that live next door and also some mourning doves have been frequenting our back yard for bird seed...stoopid windows!
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Yowza, that close and mom couldn't catch it? She is SO not a cat, MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe is sorry you didn't get a taste...er a closer look.
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Isn't that crazy how they can zoom in on the tiniest bit of seed that is laying in a crevice in the garage. They must have astonishing eyesight for such birdbrains that they are.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a meal, er, birdie that close *I* would be so crazy pants mom would have to call the Cat Subduers. (whoever those are) (heheheh)
ReplyDeleteOh oh...I think that birdie is looking for trouble hanging around a house full of kitties. LOL!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
Wowzer Meowzer can we invite a few over for a greet and eat, uh, greet and meet, yeah, meet...
