Kitties!
May Ling here.
Every night Daddy sits in his chair; you know, the one next to the ottoman with Mommy's MY pillow and the cozy fleece on it. Naturally, I have to visit.
Hi Daddy! Here I am!
I always head bump the chair.
The "Front Claw Clasp and Pile Driver Hind Feetsies" pose is an extremely advanced move.
This position is a difficult one--kitten tots, do not try this at home! Also, you may get a mani/pedi if you Clasp and/or Pile Drive too...um...vigorously.
I like to pretend to settle in, then get up and stomp around, make biscuits, pseudo-settle some more, stomp, head-butt, and dribble...Daddy loves it...you should hear his gleeful expostulations.
Eventually I get the Squeeze of Submission and a Scruff Hummer.
Dang it Daddy, you don't fight fair!
It works every time.
PURRRRrrrrrrRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
And in case you're wondering, Mommy gets her special Tortie Time, too!
Happy Tuesday!

Heya Mai Ling! You got it goin on Gurlfriend! Hope yer mum's knee is doing better too! That Woman just checked the mail today from the weekend & we got your special card about Missy Jenga, it came the same time as the Vets special surprise to us too. It was an emo moment for sure & That Woman has your card up on the mantle with the gift from our Vet. *you can see it on our blog if you wanna*.

A tortie and her tie-dye Daddio. It's a beautiful thing. XOXO
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice feline.
ReplyDeleteMai Ling, you are one big girl! Like Squeak! And clearly, you are good at big hugs! Hi to you from Pisi and Squeak!
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable Mai Ling!
ReplyDeleteMirsku's gonna be J-E-A-L-O-U-S of all that torticating with Daddy. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very patient Daddy. Around these parts when Pumpkin starts to settle in on the male person he knows he better be quick!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have to show this post very slowly to Mirsku and make sure we can run fast to escape. he is either going to let out a huge moan of jealousy or faint flat on his back at all that torticating from his beloved. Äiti is sincerely hoping he doesn't get ideas about pile-driving her as she is not sure her rib cage can cope. Your Daddy must have a very strong chest!
ReplyDeleteIs there something between torties and male humans? 'Cause Binga adores my human's boyfriend. He just got back from 12 days of working on music and doing shows and she hasn't left his side since he got back (except to try to steal my dinner).
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great routine May Ling. :)
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, that looks like a purrfect ritual you have going on there!!
ReplyDeleteWe like to do the "make biscuits"
part ;)
Enjoy the cuddles !

May Ling you have got some good moves!
ReplyDeleteThose pics of Ming reminded me to check out the tie dye shirts on etsy. They look cool, however, the sort by size doesn't seem to be working. Keep the cats and the shirts coming.
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, you have al of the lap-related moves. Don't forget to stomp the family jewels a few times. That one is especially important.
ReplyDeleteGood job May Ling....get comfy and let that daddy know who is in charge!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, she looks so happy and content. What a sweet girl.

ReplyDeleteOh May Ling, good job getting those peeps wound around your pretty paw. Looks like you have them so well trained as it should be. Hope all of you have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, Looks like you have that whole session totally choreographed? Does it ever vary? We like when our daddy pays attention to us. This is the first time we've seen your dad since we've been following your blog. He's handsome! Glad your mom is getting some kitty lap time as well. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

Oh you know how to give Tortie loves. Mom said she misses those but Tuxie loves are wonderful too.
ReplyDeleteSweet May Ling knows just what she wants and how to get it. Terrific pictures of you and your routine. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteWhee what a fun time you have. I do not do the climb-onto thing being an ex-feral Man-Cat, but, I do poke and grab at the Dad as soon as he gives me a chance. Purrs.
ReplyDeletePS Looks like Moms leg is a bit better
