Kitties!
The Baby here.
Um, pay no attention to how Daddy is holding me. The truth is, I'm hating every second of this and the huge rumbling purr is only a front to hide my distaste for such undignified treatment of my furson.
Yeah, I didn't think it sounded too convincing, either.
Now let me down because I have to go see what Mommy is doing in the kitchen!
Did you know one of my many nicknames is "Carbo-Cat"? I love sweets and baked goods--and do you see the bright blobs behind me? It's CAKE! Store bought with thick frosting...yummy.
I chowed down on Mommy's piece while her back was turned. I thought for a minute she hadn't noticed but my frosted whiskers gave me away!
That, and the buttercream smear on my face.
Rats.
She was cool about it though; she merely laughed and went for the camera, and Daddy crumbled up some cake just for me--and Mommy gave me a dot-O-cream to wash it down.
Life is good.
Happy Monday!

Lily says it must be a white-cat thing. She's always in the kitchen moochin' too.
ReplyDeleteAw! Look at you and Daddeh cuddling!! That is very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a cat that loved bread. We'd have to store it on top of the refrigerator...and even then, he'd jump up there and drag the loaf to the basement to eat it.
Boy, you sure do have those humans Under The Paw. And the Whiskers. And the Swishy Tail. In fact wethinks this is total girlcat dominance.
ReplyDeleteThe Baby! You're SHAMELESS!
ReplyDeleteI love it ;-)
You lucky girl. I would have stolen her cake too. Shhhh, don't tell her!
ReplyDeleteNow that's having your cake and eating it too! Way to train those humans, Baby!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a kitty for sweets, which is probably a good thing, because my human would be none too happy if I tried to have a taste of one of those red velvet cupcakes she sometimes comes home with!
ReplyDeleteHammy LOVES the sweets as well... I just love the sweet Baby cat!
ReplyDeleteHee hee hee, you're not spoiled at all!
