Kitties!
The Baby here.

Well, I'm home, and resting as much as I can with two Helicopter Peeps hovering over me all the time. Daddy made a special trip to the store and bought me Temptations, Party Mix, and junk food kibble, all of which I ate, (Mommy says right now calories don't count!) along with some stinky wet fuuds and several loooong drinks of water. I sauntered out for two short patrols today but mostly all I want to do right now is sleep, sleep, sleep.
I get pills twice daily and--for now--I'm being very good about taking them. Mommy mentioned a new tasty treat called "something-or-other Pockets" which I may get to try...I hope they're as good as advertised.
So for now, I'm holding my own, but I still feel pretty puny. Getting old (I'm 15--where has the time gone?) is not for sissycats!
Thank you all so much for your good thoughts and purrayers, and thank you Marg for your offer of running an auction for my vet expenses. Paws crossed I won't have to have any surgery, but if I do it's wonderful to know you all have my back. Mommy and Daddy are thankful and touched by your comments and emails, as well.
We couldn't have better friends.
I love you all.
Happy Caturday!

oooh, you are getting a smorgasbord.. Yum-ola! hopefully you continue to feel better..
ReplyDeleteYou eat loads and get all the attention you so richly deserve! We're rooting for you.
ReplyDeleteBe well my sweetie. Enjoy the Yums!
ReplyDeleteWe kitties know that sleep knits up the raveled sleeve of care...or something. But seriously, sleep is sooooooo wonderfully restorative, though it can be difficult to get into a really good, deep, fur-flattening kind of nap with four buggy Human eyes peering at you the whole freaking time. Still, they love you and they can't help themselves, so try to get some good shut-eye despite their hovering. Sending you purrs, and purrs and more purrs, my sweet. XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteSweet Baby, we're keeping the purrs going and our paws crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteXOXOXO

ReplyDeleteSleep is a very good thing when you are ailing, whether you are a human or a kitty. Lisbeth thinks the pill pockets are nommy. Mommy was never able to get pills in her until we got those. Fifteen is getting up there, but we sure hope you have several more years in you. Our Lily Olivia is fifteen now. She sleeps oodles and doesn't have anything wrong. Paws-crossed it remains that way. Our mommy is really hoping to meet you next week. XO as well as purrs and prayers, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
