Kitties!
The sisal rope section of our skyway has been a BIG hit!
Felix careens circuits every morning--Mommy hears the boards flexing and bouncing when she's getting ready for work.
But Felix isn't the only Fan of the Sisal section.
Salem likes it too!
It has great grippability for daring maneuvers.
It's highly satisfying for a observation perch.
And
Arty Photographs.
Have a Happy Sunday, Kitties!

Hmmm... this gives me an idea - we have these cool beams in the living room... maybe my human should wrap them in sisal for us!
ReplyDeleteOh Salem! That looks like the best walkway ever! My Human is far too lazy and unskillful to build me anything so fun. I do have a sisal-rope scratching post, but it pales in comparison.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the glimpses of your adorable little legs made my heart speed up!
The Human had to look up "flensing" and while getting rid of her blubber all at once like that *is* sort of appealing, she's decided against it.
That is so way cool! I think you are the luckiest of cats!
ReplyDeleteYou guys have so many cool things that your parents make for you; we love the photos of beautiful Salem, especially the "arty" one...Happy Sunday sweet friends...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteThat sisal's been well loved and scratched already - it looks ace. I keep starting to show Äiti plans for skyways and walkways and scratchways but Äiti just thinks that I am playing with string on the floor. I wish she'd get the message. I am so jealous of you guys!
ReplyDeleteThat skyway is amazing and it seems the sisal has made it even better. Lucky guys!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so awesome! Wish we had that in our house.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool ! Salem, thanks for the good show on that skyway. You got a really good circus's skill.

Annie's happy to know that Felix is staying in shape. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSalem, you're having way too much fun up there! LOL. Lucky kitty!
Oh Super Salem and Fantastic Felix!! Yay!! What action kitties!! Me and Charlie are so glad you are all enjoying your amazing skyway!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd we agree: they make good perches for arty photographs! :-)
Take care
x
Salem, that is such a purrfect place to watch for introooders. What fun to be able to up that high. Our assistant is just going to have to get us some sisal.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday
That looks like an awesome spot to hang out, Salem!
ReplyDeleteOoohhh, that's cool. It's almost like being high up in a tree. But Inside. And sisal! We LOVE sisal.
ReplyDeleteI could see why that would be a big hit -- kitties love that particular texture for some reason. It's great for scratching, too. I imagine they can get a good grip on it while walking over it -- and likely feel more secure on the sisal.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Mom and Dad!
What a pawsome walk way. We want one too, but our mean old mum won't let us. Something about the housing association not allowing it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteMorning Salem...great job on the balance beam...do you anticipate trying out for the Summer Olympics?
ReplyDeleteWe remembered your mom likes stained glass windows...please have her stop by today we have lots posted.
Hugs Madi
Oh yea Salem, if we hade one of those it would be darn popular here too!
ReplyDeleteThe sisal on your walkway is looking good now it's lost its "new" look. Have you tried jumping down onto Daddy's head from up there!!
ReplyDeleteYou have the coolest house ever. Ok, you have the coolest humans ever...they build you all that cool stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love my mom and dad, but I suspect they've been slacking.
Maybe your dad will wrap more of the boards in sisal for your enjoyment!
ReplyDeleteA spot for both arty photos AND daredevil moves is rare indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to live there. You are lucky cats. I get lots of ideas from your mom. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteWe're so jealous of your sisal board! We have a banister in our living room that maybe we can get our daddy to wrap with sisal. *DADDY!!!*
ReplyDeleteWe have a coupla ramps in our house but nothing that compares to your sissal skyway. That sure looks like a lot o fun. Do any of you block the skyway and cause kitty traffic jams?
ReplyDelete-Pip, Smidgen, Minnie
Your sisal walkway looks like lots of fun. There are lots of different things you can use it for too. Scratching, walking snoopervising..........
ReplyDeleteCan your humans come over and outfit our home with sisal skywalks???
ReplyDeleteThat is a super idea! I am going to see what I can suggest we wrap in sisal.
ReplyDeleteWe've been waiting for some photos of your fantastic skyway being used - that sisal looks great for gripping onto, and kitties always like to be high up so they can observe life beneath them! xx
ReplyDeleteYou guys have the best place to hang out.
ReplyDeleteThat is just the best! You kitties sure are lucky!

ReplyDeleteMi piacce molto questo blog.
Buona serata.
You kitties all have a wonderful evening and snuggle with each other and mommy and daddy tonight. Start their week off right, that's what I do for my mommy.
ReplyDeleteBONKS
Can you hire your Dad out to make runways for all the rest of us?
ReplyDeleteStar says, "Wowser! That's as cool as the ramps in that Cat House! I've been telling mom that she and dad should make us some things like that but she keeps saying that they have to buys silly things like food for them and stuff. Silly Feeders! Everycat knows that we are much more important!!"
ReplyDeleteYour daddy must be happy you loves it! Anything for his kids!
ReplyDeleteA sisal walkway is a terrific idea! No wonder you are enjoying it so much... you have a very thoughtful human staff.
