Kitties!
This is NEVER good to see at your house:
Even the Cat Models look hissed off!
But not as angry as this!
Mommy, you are gonna die. Srsly. I'm not chicken.
Johnny, don't laugh at me...you dumb cluck...you're next!
ohCodohCodohCod!
Get this thing OFFA me!
Or I might lay an egg!
Mommy, that's better, a nice red jaunty scarf.
The worst part of this costume?
Being called "pinhead"!
I think I'll go with a home made costume, thankyouverymuch.
A yellow crepe paper tie is purrfect.
It's just as good as a store-bought one!
Rats. I meant to crop Mommy's restraining arm out of the photo.
Kitties, we dread this time of year.
Howl-o-ween.
We're howling, all right.
XX Lounge ManKats
Oh. No.
ReplyDeleteJust No.
This is so very WRONG, Boys. Don't let her get away with it. If there's a bow-tie today, can a tutu be far behind?
Oh no! I purr each and every day that I have never been made to wear a costume. Please don't give my mom any ideas. Please!
ReplyDeleteI think all the costumes look great! I'm amazed that your kitties are so accommodating, I don't think I'll be able to get the boys to wear anything!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason our mommy is laughing so hard but we see nothing funny about the indignity of those silly costumes. There's 13 of you and two of them - we think revenge is in order!
ReplyDeleteWhat is WRONG with humans!? Why do they go insane at this time every year? Kitty costumery needs to be outlawed unless the cat signs an agreement to allow it.
ReplyDeleteI used to think Halloween was fun and then they discovered how to dress up a cat. It's not fun any more to me!
ReplyDeleteWait, did we log onto the Katnip Lounge or is this Daisy the Curly cat? We are confused by your outfits!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahaha.... We're SO sorry for laughing my friends (hahahahahahaha) but those are just priceless!! We're real happy there is not really Halloween here!!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I hope you guys at least got cheese!
ReplyDeleteLOL..Poor for you guys but Sorry, Fun for me : )
ReplyDeleteThis is not looking good. I hope that out of shot there was lots of real blood and gore from where you guys were biting and scratching and making sure that your Mom and Dad got the message that this simply will not do. I am note sure what we would do if such indignities were put on us (it does sometimes happen that Äiti tries, when she wants the 'cute Christmas shot' -which always fails). Paws are crossed ehre that you will be seen without silly clothing on tomorrow's blog.
ReplyDeleteOMB!We is so glad da doggys is da ones dat get dressed up, we runs and hides when we sees da outfits! Our crazy lady tries, but wif no luck! You poor poor kittys!
ReplyDeleteDa Kittys
Hey, buddy - ppssst... thanks for the warning.
ReplyDeleteWe, ManCat will be very careful from today onwards, we ain't gonna look like a cluck!
Love, Lucky & the other ManCats
You are being more than tolerant. We have zero tolerance for any type of clothing or costumes.
ReplyDeleteWe are deeply, deeply thankful our mom never would do that to us and that she's really not into Halloween. Thank Bast for that! We feel for you all, truly.
ReplyDeleteall of u looks very very cute
ReplyDeleteMum should put you in cat costumes for Halloween!
ReplyDeleteMOL!!! Oh your poor guys!
ReplyDelete*jane wipes tears of laughter from eyes*
Awwwwww!!!!! Gorgeous Rupert - you make one dashing chicken!! Yes you do!!
ReplyDeleteAnd lovely Mr Johnson - me and Charlie vote for the scarf!!!!
And is that sweet Rupert with the owl outfit?!?! Awwwww!!!! Miss Annie will be most impressed!! is that gorgeous Scouty in the yellow scarf???
And lovely lovely Maui!!! It's great to see your mum!!
Take care
x
p.s. I meant FELIX!!! Charlie is shaking his head - I meant Felix in the owl outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so so sorry!!
x
We are SO glad our Mom hasn't tried to dress us up! We'd be howling too!
ReplyDeleteOh no, not the dreaded chicken hat, I had one 2 years ago and yep, it's quite humiliating fur sure!
ReplyDeleteYou all look adorable! I agree, though, that wearing hats is hard. Especially if you got a small head.
ReplyDeleteAt this time of year, I am eternally grateful that Halloween is not a big deal in Australia.
ReplyDeleteWe hope our mommy doesn't get any ideas from this. We all had costumes last year, but we hope she forgot where she stored them.
ReplyDeleteha ha- those are great pictures. Sorry you had to put up with such ooman entertainment. Hiss at dem.
ReplyDeleteAiiieeeeeeeeee!!!!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMC you all have to pay a high price for free room, board, food. MOL I am laughing at your expense,
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
The chicken hat ... Hahahhahahahhahahaaaa!
ReplyDeleteYou are all adorable..even you man cats! You were so good to mommy!
ReplyDeleteIf mommy tries that with me..it's the ol' slice and dice comin' HER way!
Thabk goodness mum hasn't seen this video - we don't want to give her any ideas. BTW we loved seeing you all looking funny!!
ReplyDeleteThis is scary - our mom has been looking high and low for costumes for us but we will have none of this!
ReplyDeleteWe will not dress up either. Maybe a hat but that is all. She knows better. But all you lounge cats do look kind of funny with those wonderful expressions. The chicken hat is the best. Just where is that egg?? Just you wait, there probably is more coming.
ReplyDeletePoor kitties!!!! We know ur pain and the power of the 'restraining arm'. You did a great job conveying your 'I'M TOTALLY NOT HAPPY' face in the pics tho!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're scared our time is coming soon too - mom and grammy bought us t-shirts over the weekend.
I feel for you, bros. I hate costumes.
ReplyDeleteYou look every so cute. I think the yellow crepe tie thing also looks very tasty nom nom
ReplyDeleteI know the cats here don't agree with me, but I love it. The chicken head has me in complete stitches!!
ReplyDeleteI think someone needs a fur ball or two coughed up in their shoe!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Oh dear. Meowm keeps looking at those things when she goes to get food for us. So far she hasn't brought one home....we hope it stays that way. We are sorry you didn't escape it, but you do look kinda cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear, we can now understand why you're howling!!!!!!!!! We are so fortunate cuz our mama only photoshops us and never actually tries to dress us up.
ReplyDeleteOkay, we just gotta say it......you all look really cute!!!!!
xxxxxxxxxx
Oh carp! We know this is in our future too 'cuz mom went to PetSmart this past weekend and we saw some Halloween stuff in the bag...this ain't gonna be good....
ReplyDeleteI do say you'll never catch me with a chicken on my head!
ReplyDeletenow we are furry worriet!! our mom came home wif a white plastic bag wif black & orange print on it that sed "SPIRIT"--an' it wasn't big enuf to hold a costume for HER!!
ReplyDeleteHope yoor mom can sleep wif one eye open...our mom gave up on putting stuff on us, we don't like it and we let her know!
ReplyDeleteOh how awful! You look beyond annoyed wearing that chicken hat.
ReplyDeleteYes, you can blame it all on Hallowe'en -- the bane of felines for centuries!
ReplyDeleteIs that Grayce in the chicken hat, or Rupert, or both (there are two pictures)? Whoever it is, is NOT aMEWSed!
Johnny doesn't look too upset by it, but he's looking very dapPURR in his jaunty scarf.
I'm sure Felix thinks the owl costume is a 'hoot'! And Maui is just too darn floofy for the tie. Something more dramatic is needed there.
For the most part, your kitties are quite amenable to being dressed up. I do it quite often with Dante and Domino (who actually enjoy it, I think). But our Dylan absolutely balks.
Methinks, the fun has just begun!
Ooh we do NOT dress up! Its a blood-letting offense.
ReplyDeleteBut about Mom's restraining arm in the picture... Funny story. The Big Thing got up the other day an saw us playing in the bafroom sink, so he took a few pictures. He was about to let us post them. At the LAST moment he realized his reflection was in the mirror. An he was in his UNNERWEAR!
We GOTTA get our paws on those pictures...
We hope you all got extra EXTRA treats for all of that....costuming!
ReplyDeletepurrin
xoxox
Abby
Wow. Your mom looks really annoying! =^..^=
ReplyDeleteOh my my my.... there will be blood if our mom tries that. What, Mom? You were thinking of seeing if you can get Zoe into a costume? Well, hmmm... I could get behind that!
ReplyDeleteYour friend, Fuzzy
Bahahahahahahaha
ReplyDelete*ahem*
Sorry. It's just that you kitties have such wonderfully disgruntled facial expressions. If looks could kill!
Mol! You all look very handsome dressed up! We're just glad it's you and not us, heh heh. Remember, there are thirteen of you and just your two pawrents...just mention a femme Friday dress-up and your sisfurs will help...just sayin...
ReplyDelete-Pip, Smidgen, Minnie
pee ess: those are our 'soccer balls' (ping pong and whiffle golf balls) in the picture - mom just stashes them in that planter saucer she's been too lazy to pick up ;-/
We left notes on the last 3 entries and got kicked off every single time. We're hoping this one works.
ReplyDeleteBTW, we love the 13th cat, and the catio!
We love all the photo's! They are so cute and the comments are hilarious! Especialy the "gonna lay an egg" one! We are your newest followers!
ReplyDeletehugs & smoochies!! XOXO
Hailey and Lala
Oh no, we've been through the costumes lately too! We'll trade you our King Tut costume for your chicken costume. We really don't like the King Tut. :-p
ReplyDeleteYour mom is a brave woman. With looks like that she takes her life in her hands dressing you kittehs up. You guys look way beyond annoyed!
ReplyDeleteMOl!! Ya, the cardboard you's do look hissed off. That chicken hat is so funny with ear holes. Big family you have there.
ReplyDeleteHEHEHE there are 13 of you so why don't you take a vote as to who should wear costumes every year?
ReplyDeleteYou know, like you got a new brother recently, and stuff.... Mawhawhaw!!!
Purrrrrs
Oh no! The humiliation!
ReplyDeleteOur mum had better not even think about it!
