Kitties!
For a lot of our readers it's pretty gol-danged gosh-durned nasty outside.
Winter is here in the Desert, too. We've had ten days of icky rain (!!!), with more to come, and this weekend it's supposed to get down to freezing temperatures.
Not at all like the HOTS we prefer.
So today we thought we'd help all y'all warm up by posting a picture of four of us, stacked up, soaking in the sunbeams.
Did it help?
Happy Tuesday!

Thank You! We now feel even colder here! we cannot remember what sunbeams are- Äiti says She saw the Sun last week but it was not far above the trees. We might get to feel it on our furs in February. But we are finncats and can cope. You guys must really be suffering if it's heading towards zero (or whatever freezing is in silly units ). Keep warm.
ReplyDeleteWe vaguely remember what sunbeams feel like so appreciate your reminder. Hope you stay warm and dry there in your winter desert!
ReplyDeleteThat is cool to be stacked!
ReplyDeleteWe akshooally sawed da sun today. And what's really surprising is da weather bean sed it was gonna be almost 40 degrees later dis week. It's Wisconsin so dat means, after weeks of barely getting above 10 degrees, some silly bean will be outside in a t-shirt and shorts...we just hope dis time it is not our mom.
ReplyDeleteYep, the cold front is supposed to be here tomorrow with rain and wind and plummeting temps. Then heading East in your direction. The cat stack did make us feel warmer though!
ReplyDeleteActually, we scrolled down again to look at the pic-shers of Rupert and now we're all warmed up...:D
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
Awwwwwwwwww, we are glowing in warmth now from looking at your lovely pictures. We have rain now and that seems to be melting the last bits of snow. Mummy says we might be getting more snow later in the week though!!!! Stay warm and snuggled xx
ReplyDelete" The cat stack " That's HOT !!!!
ReplyDeleteMOL, you guys... I think that was a little mean to do to our friends on the east coast!
ReplyDeleteWell, yes, but I'd rather see some photos of that handsome CC.
ReplyDeleteAwww beautiful Salem, handsome Sylvester, wonderful Felix and adorable Rupert! Me and Charlie are feeling the heat and the warmth just by looking at you gorgeous kitties bathing in your own sunbeams!!! Thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care

Yes, that sunny stack does help to warm a cat up. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIts not even sunny in my part of the world - a lot of Australia is being flooded due to so much tropical rain!!!! Lucky we live up high (1000m above sea level).
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Christmas and thanks for all your comments throughout the year - you make me laugh! oooxxx
Seeing yoo all, always brightens our day! Fanks!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm. Lovely reminder of what it can be like!
ReplyDeleteIt actually got down to the 30s last night here in south Florida! I wish it would get sunny here again so I can go in my new Outside Funhouse again!
ReplyDeletethat is so cool! I wish mom would get me one!
ReplyDeleteIt gets that cold there!? Oh! The injustice! Get warm soon!
ReplyDeleteNasty weather is bad, no matter where you are! Hope you get more HOTS for your furry little bottoms very soon...
ReplyDeleteThanks, we needed that!! We didn't get all the snow that the east got, and now it's supposed to warm up a little but we're gonna get lots of rain!!! There's nothing worse than cold rain.
ReplyDeleteWe do like your baked kitties! It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy too!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, warmth. We sorta remember what the sun feels like. But we do luff the pic of the stackable kittehs.
ReplyDeleteWarmed my heart a little bit...
ReplyDeleteJust remind us please - what is a sunbeam.
ReplyDeleteAhh, sunbeams... There are few to be found here, too. I think it was around 20F yesterday - too cold!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, we don't remember what sunbeams are like at all. It's been raining and dreary here for weeks! Our only how is that the temperature will drop so we can get some snow...vs. just being 40 degrees and miserable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sunbeam picture! We feel better now!
Sunbeams on fur always help when things are near freezing here!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sunshine, we needed that!
Hugs,
Tom
ahhhhhhh I feel a hot flash coming on!!!! MOL!!
ReplyDeleteYour home is a "kitty paradise!" Your home is the Disneyland of the cat world!
xoxo
We haven't had any snow, and we desperately need the rain. We're actually going to be near 70 in a couple of days!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your note about Kona Kitty. Fuzzy is not nervous to eat around Zoe - Zoe has been really REALLY good for Fuzzy after years of being picked on by the black beast. Fuzzy dropped a ton of weight when I quit feeding the kidney crunchies. I was considering going back to them, because it certainly won't hurt her to eat them. What are you feeding Kona Kitty?
Postcard from Madi:
ReplyDeleteDear Sylvester, Rupert, Salem and Felix,
Wishing I was there sharing your sunbeams!
Sincerely,
Madi
PS: I chuckled at your comment on my blog.
MOL
With so many conflicting reports on what is 'good' food and what is 'bad' food, I certainly don't judge anyone on what they feed their cats. My cats ate Kit 'n Kaboodle for a million years before they got switched to kidney formulas, and they lived to be 16, 18 and at least 16 (Fuzzy). And I agree about the age - when they get to a certain and and lose some weight, even my vet says to feed them whatever they want. Thanks for your support and advice - you really do rock!
ReplyDeleteActually is did make me feel a little bit warmer, thanks gang!!!
ReplyDeleteWow for us it did help - we feel a little bit warmer here now!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute and we hope you had a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe feel a little warmer...thanks for the effort :-)
ReplyDeleteblah, rain is bad, 10 inches is crazy bad. I hope you have your little boats ready just incase.
ReplyDeletebonkbonks
We feel warm all over!
ReplyDeleteCan we come and join your sunny stack? We had a thaw start yesterday and it has rained all today so our snow has gone and we just have ice left, but no sun.
ReplyDeleteWe feel warmer already!
ReplyDeleteAt least you has sunbeams to soak up. All we gets lately is clouds. Send it our way would you please.
ReplyDeleteOh we love a quadruple stack!
ReplyDeletekitty kisses to my dear Sylvester.

We can almost feel how warm those sunbeams are just looking at you four!
ReplyDeleteI've completely forgotten about that giant orb in the sky...it looks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteIt did help! It's supposed to get icky here again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I wanted to let you know that the other side of our Cat Vomit sign *is* in Spanish! Is that hilarious or what?
Thanks gang - lounging in the sunshine warmed me up.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Genghis
Well, you know, it ALWAYS helps me to see a picture of Salem.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sun kids!!!!
ReplyDeleteLucky you ! at least a little sunshine !
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment yesterday but it didn't work. Don't know why.
