Friday Frenemies

Kitties!

Check this out!

Do you see these two booties touching?

Maui and Scouty are sleeping next to each other on the Big Bed.
Normally, Maui wants to eat Scouty, and he chases him around just to make him squeal like a GirlCat.  But Mommy put this Magical Blue Towel down (to prevent Cat Fur on the blankets--can you believe THAT?) and the MBT makes friends of us all.

Well, Scouty maybe doesn't look too thrilled...

...but Maui is happy to have a buddy to snuggle with.

Kitties, Mommy is gonna have a ladygardenectomy on February 22.  If any of your Moms have any advice for her, could you leave a comment on her blog?  She's a little nervous about the whole thing.  Thanks!

Also, her work schedule is going back to "normal" after next week, so we'll be able to visit y'all more...HURRAH!!

We hope all of you kitties living through the terrible winter weather in the USA are staying warm, and your Moms and Dads are careful on the roads.
To our Aussie friends--we are thinking of you with the cyclone and flooding.  Please be safe.

Happy Friday!!

    Your friend, Zoe

P.S. We're going to have to re-read bios, because we were thinking Maui wanted to eat the gray cats!

  6. I even let Ichiro touch me sometimes... So anyone can be friends for a moment or two, no matter how distasteful it is.

  22. Three cheers for the Magical Blue Towel.

Tell your mum from me that she shouldn't climb the screen door the day after her ladygardenectomy. Otherwise, my mum will yell at her.

  23. Mom said the comments alone are making her morning! I will purr and purr for you after your ladygardenectomy. I finks that not to climb the screens or actually RUN after the George's is a good idea. Just lie in wait for them to get in your mouth. No strain, no pain. ♥

  35. We see Scouty making darn sure the coast is really clear. He is in a very good focusing mode. Hey, Scouty, this might be the start of something really, really good with Maui! I had to sleep with at least one eye open around Sam for weeks, and now look at us :D
Tell your mom from our mom that she'll be thinking of her on Feb 22nd. Tell her not to worry, everything will be fine. Make sure you have lots of chocolates stocked up :D
    XOXOXO

  36. Yeah, Scouty is definitely on sleeping there. But he wants th MBT anyway.
Good luck to Mom Trish for her surgery on the 22nd. Be sure to take enough time away from work to fully recover: don't go back too soon. Oh and, we liked the comment about wearing the collar so you can't chew out your stitches and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  37. So nice to see Maui and Scouty almost snuggling!! I'll be thinking about you on the 22nd and wishing a speedy recovery.

    ReplyDelete
  38. WOW! Did some place freeze over that we don't know about? This winter it's entirely possible!

Love what TBT said about your mom not liking to wear that collar for 2 weeks! She'll be after her stitches all the time if you don't watch her!
And kitties, you're going to all pull together to help her recover!

    ReplyDelete
