Keep the Kitties Calm

*doo dah do di deeee*
*la di da da doooo*

WHAT!?!

OH!

Kitties!
The Baby here.
You caught me all relaxicated, because I've been gnawing on an old worn out Calming Collar.  The package says they're only good for a month, but what do silly Humans know?  I still cop a great buzz off the old ones.

They're so much fun to give the toothy death.
Sweet Pea and May Ling wear calming collars because they spat constantly, and sometimes pee "inappropriately", whatever THAT is.

What's important to me is that I get the used ones.
Rats!  It fell down.

Gotta get it!
Guess what!  We are so vigorous on our cat tree that we broke one of the feet rockin' on it!  Mommy had to write and get a replacement one.  As you can see right now it's propped up on  mover pads.  Classy, huh?

I take a mighty leap to the floor!
See the collar?

Double Rats.  I can't bring it back up with me.  Unless I wear it, and we all know that'll never happen.
Time to implement "Plan B".

An astounding leap back onto the tree...
...up to the first level...

...where Daddy has buckled a second old collar to the frame.
Thanks, Daddy!
I love you.

Happy Monday!

  2. Such agility - especially under the influence of calming drugs. We think those things are ridiculously stinky and they didn't calm Tuomo-veli down when he really needed it. But we are totally chilled and calm watching your antics, and could do so all day.....

  3. Calming collars must be loaded with cat niply goodness or else the cat equivalent of rum :-) What an agile sweetheart you are - and furry handsome too.

  4. We've never seen a calming collar but it looks pretty good kinda like nip. It was nice of your daddy to hook it on your tree so it won't fall off!

  6. The first step is admitting you have a problem, The Baby.

I think you need an intervention.

  28. Baby...I need to give you some lessons in how to jump with stuff in your mouth. I can leap up to the kitchen counter with a giant daddy sock in my mouth. Amazing but true. I can teach you how to leap with a calming coller in your mouth. Piece of cake.

  30. First of all, that is a GREAT cat tree. Mommy really wants one of those now for us. We've never heard of calming collars either. Maybe it's something that would be good for the spazzes of the house, like Dharma.

  31. Seems like nothing much goes to waste at your house!
    You are very 'green' kittehs!

  32. Is that calming collar the reason why you sing so well Baby. Whew, thank heavens Dad put a collar up there on the tree. What fun to run up and down the tree. Take care and hope all of you have a great week.

  33. The Baby your parents are clearly inventive with the work done to even out the cat tree and the calming collar. You are a very fortunate girl to have them come up with interesting ways to entertain you.

  39. Those must be some purrty spectacular collars! We are glad you get to enjoy them even after the "expiration date".

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's a really good idea to recycle the calming collars like that! Just like human medication, it's still good after the stated expiration lots of times.

And what a gorgeous cat tree you have -- it's a regular work of art! With The Baby on it, it's absolutely PURRiceless!

  41. Me too think you should get a prize for the way you use the collar :)
