Kitties!
May Ling here, with some tips for Advanced ESS Enjoyment!
Are you ready?
The first pose I recommend is the Sideways Recumbent Panther, employing a Half Head Twist for an added degree of difficulty.
Next is the One-Armed Swim Maneuver with optional Weapons Deployment.
Make sure your torso is firmly anchored in the ESS's downturn to achieve maximum claw extension.
Don't forget to stretch after trying out these moves!
Take a deep breath in...hold it...hold it...
...and exhale!
You should feel the burn.
Finally, don't forget to give the cameraman a raspberry. I find it helps keep them in line.
Happy Saturday!

ReplyDeleteMay Ling! You have given me a whole new level of fantasy material in just one exciting post. Excuse me, I have to go be with my ESS now.
ReplyDeleteMiss May Ling !!! You are so flexible !!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got ESS, I will try that : )

Mirsku-vel is wondering if you could possibly do an exercise DVD, Miss May Ling. He has come over all hot and bothered and feels the need to do some exercise - but says he needs more instruction. SOme of those moves are so complex he must see more pictures of you. SOmehow we think there won't be room for us on the ess tonight!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're quite the contortionist!!
ReplyDeleteI see a whole line of product coming out of this. DVDs, exercise-wear, diet consults, appearances on morning shows, beauty-aids -- have your people contact my people.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Nadbugs comment. I love them all but that one got me smiling my kitty smile.
ReplyDeleteWonderful and ever so talented May Ling! Me and Charlie are taking down NOTES! We are practicing our raspberry skills to purrfection! Yay! take care

ReplyDeleteMay Ling, you are quite possibly the most beautiful cat I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteYou receive a 10 from the Minnesota judges.
ReplyDeleteWe finally got our own ESS but don't enjoy it as much as you do yours!

Luna - WE LOVE LUNA
Mum wishes we would do yoga on our Ess - we usually turn it on it's side and fight over it!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Thank´s May Ling for the excellent yoga lesson and for the tip on giving the cameraman a raspberry !!
ReplyDeleteHave a pawsome Caturday :)
I do think you could give my two some expert advice on staying fit!
ReplyDeleteYou are quite flexible in all those poses.

Thank you for stopping by our blog! Oh my goodness, when we got to your page and saw your room with all of those cat trees, we were astounded and delighted!
ReplyDeleteAnd then followed by these ESS poses! Are you meowing as you do them? It looks so comfy.
Hello Kittehs! Just want to say NO, I do *not* haz the sick! My post today was mostly taken from HAL's speech to Dave @ the end of 2001. I was just reminding my Human to leave me be, since she seems to find that simple request so difficult to comply with ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat lesson today! Laila can't wait to try those new moves out on her Ess!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips! Looks like we have a LONG way to get to where you are with the ESS!
ReplyDeleteLove, Cosmo and Ling
May Ling, would you be my fitness coach?
ReplyDeleteYou sure do an amazing job!
We gotta get an ESS!
You are a brilliant instructor and I so want one of those... Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteMay Ling..you should be paid to do endorsements for the Ess!! You are definitely the Mistress of Ess.
ReplyDeleteGive your photographer a raise.
hugs madi
Love the raspberry pulling face! great expressions :)
ReplyDeleteWe have an Ess and we will try out those moves, especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, you are so cute (you look a lot like me!), and you have such great moves. I didn't know weapon deployment was optional though. The best defense is a good offense. Scouty worries about his stew & I worry about Mica Crumb Pie!
ReplyDeletePurrs, Mica Minnie Moo
May Ling, you really know how to enjoy ESS! I love one-armed swim maneuver. I can see your weapon :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the raspberry in the end!!
You look like a purrfessional on that ESS May Ling! We don't even have an ESS yet but we put it on our Christmas list!
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, we haven't been using our ESS lately, but you have given us new reasons to start using it again!!
ReplyDeleteWow - I would come to your yoga class every day!
ReplyDeleteMay Ling, you're a furry good exercise instructor. Mom lufs the raspberry at the end. That gets the photographer every time.
