Kitties!
Sandy Claws must subcontract out with UPS, because look what the man in the brown shorts brought us:
A BOX!
But it wasn't just a box, there was stuff INSIDE it too!
Can you guess what it was?
How about now?
That's right, it was another Cat Tree!
We love the new tree we got a few weeks ago, there's a LOT less tension, spatting and spraying going on around the Lounge. Vertical real estate was exactly what we needed.
And you know how it is, kitties, if one of something is good, TWO is even better!
Speaking of good, we're pretty sure that whole "naughty or nice" thing is a scam perpetrated by humans to coerce "good" behavior out of us...do NOT be deceived! Because according to our Mommy we are Bad Horrible Cats and look, WE still got a present from Sandy Claws.
Daddy put our Catmas tree together in record time, he had lots of help...
...and then he scootled it into place over on the opposite side of the Great Room.
As you can see, Mommy (in a fairly inoffensive outfit, for once) was of no help whatsoever.
We took it for a test drive as soon as it was in place.
It's perfect!
Thank You, Sandy Claws!
You rock.
Happy Monday!

You lucky kitties! The Farm cats just walk along the walls here. Not that the publicist like this...
ReplyDeleteI have a REALLY, REALLY good idea!! Lookit that giant couch and those two ginormous chairs! Only two average size humans live there, right? I say, get rid of all the furniture and order about five more cat trees! Than you can find a little loveseat or sumfing for the Humans!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a great idea? Huh? Huh?
(Oh, and Salem? Lookin' good!)
Your tree looks fantastic and how lucky you kids are to have two of them!!!! So glad to hear it has encouraged household harmony :-)
ReplyDeleteA fine tree indeed.
ReplyDeleteOh wow you get the best stuff!!
ReplyDeleteWe love your Catmas tree! we are so jealous...even tho our tree has some nice toys hanging on it, it's too wussy to climb, mol! Never mind that we have our own jungle gym equipment efurrywhere...
ReplyDeleteHave fun! oh, and we agree with Spitty ;-/
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
You know, sometimes I get the feeling that the WORSE we kitties behave, the more likely Sandy Claws will bring something good our way! Think about it...
ReplyDeleteWow this cat tree is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteAnd that box is wonderful as well!
Enjoy!
purrs and Merry Christmas to you all,
Luna
Aww, look at you two up there! How great!
ReplyDeletevery nice! soon, you'll have a tree for every kitty! Are cat trees like litter boxes, where the rule is to have one more than the number of cats?!
ReplyDeleteperfect cat tree for catmas!!!

ReplyDeletePawsome! More is better is what we say! Spitty has a good idea, too. There are more of you kittehz than them, anyways. MOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous catmas tree! We love the dark blue color contrasted with the off-white posts and the way it enhances the space in that corner. What! All right - going a little interior decorator there.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to all of your family!
Laura and Taffy
Thank you very much for the birthday wishes!
ReplyDeleteI don't care what your mom says, you are all PERFECT.

Yeah, you live where it is warm...no fool would be in shorts HERE; now....lucky you...we want to see people in shorts...that would mean it is warm. That is our Christmas wish. ReplyDeleteLots o' purrs to all o' you!! Lolo(ve), Tiny and those loud, stinky, obnoxious dogs (that are maybe, sorta, kinda just a little bit cute).
Gosh ~ you kitties are sure lucky getting such a great present like that before Christmas! Though I am sure you haven't been that naughty. And besides, a little naughtiness keeps life interesting. ;)

Vertical real estate seems to be the answer to a lot of problems, at least where cats are concerned. That is just the best, to find something the kids will start using right away. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThat is a purrfect Great Room!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday,
~ The Bunch
Wow, that's the best Christmas tree ever! Very cool that Santa brought you another one--and early too. :-)
ReplyDeleteAustin here. I knew it! I knew that being horrible was the way to go. That Sandy Claws dude rocks. I shall be bad and see what unfolds!
ReplyDeleteAustin's mom here. I can tell him what will unfold!!! Tee hee
OH WOW!!! WHAT a present for such GOOD cats! Of course you're good! Spraying? What's that? No one sprays around there. Who has a hose in the house anyway, right? Right?

You lucky ducks! We're so glad to hear that the vertical space is helping.
ReplyDeleteOur mum heard a lady in the post office telling her son that Santa had email. So he probably reads blogs too. And he will have seen that you are secretly very good cats.
Whaddaya mean, "Mommy was no help whatsoever"?! Looks like Mommy was busy serenading you ingrates with beautiful music!!!!
ReplyDeletedoes your mom take requests? how about 'freebird?'
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that you are truly bad, horrible cats -- I think you're just cats being cats.
ReplyDeleteYour Mommy and Daddy are just the best getting you yet another cat tree -- of course there are 13 of you to use it! They make a real statement in your beautiful great room -- they make it even greater, if that's pawsible.
Merry Christmas to you all!
Can we come over and try it? It looks pawsome!
ReplyDeleteWow, that tree rocks!!! Y'all really deserve nice gifts!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very purrty tree...we like that blue. Nice box too. Oh, what fun you all can have now with two trees. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteLess spraying means happy kitties and happy moms. Win-Win'

Talk about prime real estate! The Lounge Cats have it made! Now we're wondering if a New Year's pawty is in store???
ReplyDeleteThat looks a great spot for snoopervising from. BTW your furs look wonderful against the lovely blue of the scratchy tree.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You must have all been really good kitties this year. You got two presents already and it's not Christmas yet!
ReplyDeleteOur human loves your great room.
Emma and Buster
Hello from a new follower! I have 6 kitties of my own. You guys are very lucky to have such nice spaces to sleep and play! Boxes are a huge hit at our house too. My kitties also like large flat pieces of cardboard box to lay on. I decorate them with stickers =)
ReplyDeleteOooo ... more cat furniture. Can't have too much of that.
ReplyDeleteMeowm is considering a new cat tree for us, since we are now three. Where did your Dad order yours from? We like that one.
ReplyDeleteDear bad horrible Katnip Lounge Kats, we feel it is necessary to say none of you are horrible....but MOM says anytime there is one or more together there will be conflicts. Now that the vertical real estate has doubled life will be smooth.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very nice Cat-mus tree and it is surely to be covered with all of your white tummy furs
Hugs Madi
You LUCKY Bad, Horrible Katnip Lounge Kats! How great is that. A new cat tree AND an awesome box! Hey Sandy Claws, you need our address?
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful!!Glad to hear the veritcal space is helping. So many neat nooks & crannies for all of you now!!! Your people are great!
ReplyDeleteWho knew that Santa rewards spats and sprays with cat trees! You guys are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteSalem, we just love your pretty white chin!
You lucky lucky bad horrible cats! I bet you're not so bad and horrible really though... just when you're playing 'fashion police' with your moms clothes :)
ReplyDeleteThat's some awesome catmouse trees! I'm going to ask for a tall one like them from santypaws. Ours are all shorter than those.
ReplyDeleteWe really like your Christmas Tree! Ours, however, doesn't look anything like yours. Yours looks easier to climb.
ReplyDeleteConCATulations to your new Catmastree !!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's the kinda catmuss tree I would go for!

Wow, you are some lucky kitties, that is for sure. All kinds of cat trees for you. Hope it helps to have everyone behave themselves. We want one too. But we do have one at least.
ReplyDeleteTake care. Looks like Santa has already visited you.
We want one now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a awesome cat tree! How come we only got one tree?? We are so deprived...or depraved...whatever...
ReplyDeleteAwesome tree! I like your theory about naughty or nice. I've never been very good, and I always get presents too :)
ReplyDeletea box AND a tree??? my what lucky kitties you are!
ReplyDeleteI am of the belief there are no bad cats.. there are simply cats being cats... and if you don't like their behavior, you need to adjust your attitude.. :)
Although that was tested today when Fleurp got a little too demanding for my dinner and snapped at me when I pushed her away.. (you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you, and you certainly shouldn't bite the hand that isn't feeding you at the moment)
Woooo hoooo!!! You must have been really good kitties this year!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some stylin' cat trees!
