Kitties!
GO BEARS!
OK, we know that they are prolly gonna lose...after all, the quarterback Jay Cutler has a broken thumb and wide receiver Johnny Knox is out injured, too.
Still, we aren't fair weather fans--we root for our team no matter what!
Daddy got us this fan-bandana a couple of days ago and we've all been scrimmaging to wear it.
There's a long-winded funny story about how we got our Bears bandana...
Mommy and Daddy went out for Greek food. Now, the only good Greek restaurant by us is at the mall, believe it or not...and right next to the food court is a sports memorabilia store.
So naturally they went in to look!
The store didn't have anything either of them wanted, and nothing for US, either.
Understandably, we were NOT heartbroken by this turn of events.
Because something else was occupying our attention, we were almost OUT of kibble.
(Never mind that there were three cases of stinky goodness in the garage, running out on kibble is a Cational Emergency!)
Daddy rescued us from starvation by going to the pet food store.
He had totally forgotten about a bandana for us until he was in line and the guy ahead of him bought one for his *gasp* D-A-R-G...so of course then he remembered.
Some of us were less than impressed, heh heh.
Happy Sunday!
XX The Kats XX
Thank Cod the humans here loathe all sports - a sporty bandana is one thing that will NEVER encircle my neck!
ReplyDeleteSadly, that's probably the ONLY thing I never have to wear!
All my girls and boys are in the 'less than impressed' group when it comes to dressing up for a game, of for anything. The are very happy with the 'clothes' they were born with.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures though. And I like the 'story' too. If I am not mistaken you have re'arranged the sun room furniture in the header have you not? Just love that room by the way. Back a few years if I had had that room I would have had much fun building the trees and the 'furniture' and the Small One would have had a ball painting.
Thanks for the visit to our place. Be safe, stay warm and dry, and be always happy. Come when you can.
Thank cod the pawrents don't dress us! But you kittehz are rockin that bandana!
ReplyDeleteWearing OUR teams bandana would be a mark of humiliation... We dont mind if they lose, but when they are complete dedded mousies, thats too much to take.
ReplyDeleteWe remember one year so bad a "fan" put up a fake season's game results, having them lose to college, then high school teams, finally routed by the "Little Sisters of the Poor"! MOL!
I am dismayed on so many fronts, I hardly know where to begin.
ReplyDeleteFirst, uh, the '49ers? They are closer, they are winning, they are the Right Team for All Right-Thinking Humans to Root For.
Next, a bandana???? Seriously? After the Jaunty Scarf and the Sparkly Hat? Your People need help, Kitties.
Finally, The Baby? What did they *do* to you, Darling, that resulted in your enduring this humiliation? Surely, it must have been something against the Geneva Convention.
This calls for a coordinated effort to retaliate. Perhaps an Occupy Action is in order--Daddy's Desk? Mommy's bed? The Kitchen????
You all look very nice in your Bears bandana. I hope they won!
ReplyDeleteIs running out of kibble like running out of grain?
ReplyDeleteTHAT would be terrible!
You all look very FANtastic
Our humans are always looking for an M's thing for Ichiro. I can't imagine why... You guys look great though and honestly--better him than me.
ReplyDeleteFootball ready...you are and it looks like some of you are getting all warmed up for the Rah, rah, rah and go team go! Since you are all decked out and ready we hope your team wins. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteI think that looks so good with all da boys !!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your team go WINNER !!!!!
oxo
What handsome and lovely mascots you all are. We are sure your team are raring to go!
ReplyDeleteYou all are such adorable mascots!
ReplyDeleteNice bandana guys, you look very dapper, but what is this 'football' ? Is this a game where a round ball is kicked across a pitch and no one is allowed to touch it with their hands because it is FOOTBALL ? Like we will be watching football later when Äiti's team will hopefully be putting lots of balls in a net. Or is this some strange game with weird shaped balls that get thrown around a lot and touched down with hands? We can play football - proper sort - but can any of you guys play YOUR sort. MOL, hehehehehe.
ReplyDeleteYay!! Go BEARS!!! Me and Charlie are thinking bears of the furry cuddly kind but maybe not! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww Kitties of Katnip Lounge! You make sportswear most chic and stylish!! Yay!! take care

I think Simba and I could cope with bandana's, its the other stuff they like to put us in for certain times of the year. Ok, I a quite liked my pumpkin outfit hee he :)xx
ReplyDeleteThe bandana looks great on all of you. Do you have a wearing schedule figured out.
ReplyDeletepawhugs, Max

ReplyDeleteNot entirely sure what kind of bears play sports? But that banadanana .... thingy looks cool! >^,.^<
ReplyDeleteSpitty said it all, Kitties and said it succintly!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me say that you all look fantastic and that is some of the best team spirit ever!
ReplyDeleteNo way would we ever be as patient to allow our Mom to put clothes on us. We'd make mincemeat out of her.
ReplyDeleteAnd if we ran out of kibble, we'd make her pay...hehehe
Go Bears!
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
We always watch football at my house... even though the Dolphins are not doing very good. Maybe I need a Dolphins bandana!
ReplyDeleteWe don't watch football here but TJ you make the Bears look good so Go Bears. ~Arty Mouse

I am SO lucky...mom went to buy cat food at the pet food place and she was distracted buying toys for our Secret Paw...so no bandanas or stuff for us. It does look good on you....

Marilia & Bavarescats
Oh great.....
ReplyDeleteMom says you all look so adorable she wants to find a Philadelphia Flyers bandana and maybe some little cat sized jerseys to wear. But it might be ok 'cause then we'd have uniforms for tub hockey!
Good luck to your team. You are all good to wear the bandana. We would be running around backwards trying to reverse out of it.
ReplyDeleteNow that Canadian Football is over, we has just started to watch the US games. Maybe we will be Bears fans, particularly if YOUS wears their bandanas (and not me)
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
I fear that things might be dire for the bears.
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like most of you got a turn with the bandana. It looks good on everyone. Hope those Bears win. Have a great Sunday
ReplyDeleteMOL that was a long story but it held my interest, had good characters, there was action and there was food...so all in all I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
Mama and I loved seeing you all (well, almost all) in your new bandana. The happy ending, of course, was that your daddy got your kibble.
ReplyDeleteYou all look much happier in your bandana than you did in the santa hat!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! What loyal fans!! It looks like you all got to wear the bandana. I hope your team won!!
ReplyDeleteGo Pack Go!
ReplyDeleteThe Shepherd says the game is tied at 0-0 right now - there 's still time for your boys :-)
ReplyDeleteDid the mom & dad make something yummy with all those lemons? I'd see a lemon pie and some lemon sauce with bread pudding and some really good lemonaide and maybe a big glass of lemon-ice tea -
Hope you all have a great holiday season! T.
It's nice that all of you take turns wearing the bandana! Our team lost again this week which was expected but we still root for them too.
ReplyDeleteWe got a laugh at all of you modeling the bandana. Though we have to say that we'd have bought a Packers one here. . .
ReplyDeleteOh ye of little faith -- last we heard they were still in the running. And how would we know that, loathing or at least misunderstanding football as we do so completely over here?? Answer: What Bugs requires, Bugs gets. I showed him how to use the internet. I wonder if that was entirely wise. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteWow - was there actually a picture of each and every one of you in that bandana? Your humans have a lot so patience and stick to it ive ness.
ReplyDeleteMom is too lame to know if your team won or not, but it is fun to see you all as fans.
you all do look sharp, though. but dag-nab if you didn't give our mom ideas. Thankfully she has Wriggley to dress up :D
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
You are VERY well behaved kitties to wear anything and have no blood shed. Of course, some of you may be relieved it wasn't a rump roast or sock sticker
ReplyDeleteI looooove your fandana! You guys really have the team spirit!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week ahead, Kats furriends!
Tom, Mittens and Mom Julie
So sorry your team spirit wasn't quite enough for the Bears. Our daughter lives in Chicago. You guys rock and are way cool in your bandana.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your Bears but win or lose, you have the bandana to wear. Hope this didn't give TW any ideas about me nd a Yankee's bandana.
ReplyDeleteYou guys look good in your bandana! It was a good thing your mom and dad had a hankering for Greek food!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are such loyal fans!
ReplyDeleteThe best Greek food in downtown Seattle is in a mall too. Weird.
Sorry to see the Bears LOST again, but it made our mom very happy. She was even more happy that the PACKERS are 13-0! We had to scamper a couple of times while the game was playing. All that jumping and yelling... Our mom can get really loud!
ReplyDeleteThat's given Mummy some ideas. Time to hide in the storeroom under the stairs...
