Kitties!
Sylvester here...and I'm a wee tad hissed off.
Why?
I'll tell you why...
...Mommy was busy AND unfaithful to us today!
It's enough to drive a Cat to squint.
So today was Mommy's day off, and did she spend the day waiting on our every whim?
What do you think?
That would be a big fat NO, kitties!
Instead, she went to Albertson's (grocery store), Wal-Mart, the Post Office, Walgreen's, Fresh-n-Easy (another grocery store) and the Evil Vet's Office, where she PLAYED WITH KITTENS after she picked up Maui's Special Medicine.
Needless to say, she claims that she's tired and doesn't have time to put together a scintillating post for us.
Mommy = Lame
Although she did give our boxes a Super-Duper scooping today...maybe we should let her slide, just this once...what do you think?

So she came home smelling of kitten did she....the nerve!!!! :-)
I never let my human slide. Of course mine is always terrible and so perhaps that is why.
But.. but... that WAS a scintillating post! It was all you after all...
I'd say as long as you have foods and clean boxes, you might wanna give her a pass. Just this once anyway.
She didn't actually BRING a kitten home, did she? Oh, well, thank Cod then. Whew--dodged THAT bullet.
No. Definitley no. Playing with kittens is a BAD thing because you never know what she will bring home. The best thing you guys can do is fatten your faces, puff up your tails and start acting all cute and immature, like you are 8 weeks old. Then she won't feel the need to bring anything young, untrained and ill-mannered home. Beware: this is the thin end of the wedge. And we know this only too well.
We don't know Sylvester, the kitties at the vets office sometimes become part of your family (ahem) so you need to watch out! Just sayin.
But do you remember how she used to come home from the Evil Vet smelling of YOU? So yeah, we'll let it slide if we were you. :)
When Mommy read "Fresh-N-Easy", she immediately thought, cat litter! MOL!
Eh, let it slide. Then whe she least expects it, whap her backside!
All those pics of you actually constitute a pretty great post, Sylvester! Now what was going on with those KITTENS?
Sounds like she loves you still. Although you could always make her slide in that big litter box....

We gets all squinty too when our mama is gone all day and comes home smelling of kittens. But we usually lets it slide if she gives us a goodie treat.

You're all far too easy on her, Sylvester. Who does she think she is? I think you need to reestablish terms and conditions! Just saying....
I think you kitties have a pretty good life so perhaps letting her slide this one time will be OK. ;)

If she came home with food and treats for you, then we vote for forgiving her. If not, well, feel free to exact revenge as you see fit.
We have to say if she played with the kittens at the shelter, that is such a good thing to do. Those kittens do need attention. Sylvester, you look so good in the tunnel. You are such a handsome dude. Take care all of you. Give that Mommy the devil.

I think as long as she didn't bring anyone home it's OK. My mom has the same annoying habit of flirting with alien cats at Petsmart, the vet, and yes, the city shelter where she has no other business!
We were gonna waive her dalliances until the "playing with kittens" part came up.
Kittens and super scoops, me thinks super scoops wins!
Plus, Mommys who know how to skritch kittens is good for those poor kittens who don't gets them as often as yous!

I'm with Spitty Cat. And when That Woman comes to visit? I'm makin SURE she's packed a couple extra somethings us gurls like to refer to as 'Thing 1 & Thing 2'. I just need to figure out how to keep them from yowling in the bags and spoiling your surprise!

Well, those kitties probably really needed some attention seeing as how they were at the evil v-e-t office. and a clean litterbox...well that is a wonderful thing to have.

Aww, sorry Sylvester. Moms are lame sometimes -at least ours is. But eventually you have to forgive them. After all, they are the ones with the thumbs, and they can do things for us (as they should) that we can't do for ourselves. If it wasn't for that, we would have fired our mom a long time ago. Well, maybe not, since we do love her a bunch and we know she loves us. But we definitely would have thought about it real hard.
Sylvester, I think she did pretty good despite the excuses. ...but KITTENS? Now that's just inexcusable.
